Sparks flew as kagunes clashed, two apex predators fighting for dominance. Kaneki was going faster and harder then when he cracked fighting Nishiki, maybe he'd mastered his ghoul abilities a little more, maybe it was because he was starved at the time or maybe it was because he just gulped high quality Chimera flesh, either way he was certainly putting up a hell of a lot more of a fight then he previously had been. You hated to admit it but you were beginning to struggle with him as he slashed and struck with ever increasing ferocity, he's kagune struck against your own and you actually were pushed back by the impact. You may have been out of practice but you hadn't struggled against any one person since Libras mad crusade, it was the first time you had to actually focus on any one opponent for years. The raving lunatic that Kanaki had transformed was not dissimilar from the fallen zodiac. There were differences though, while Libra had preached his warped ideology of balance with an almost feverish zealousness Kaneki was just a starving, raving, frothing animal. Slobber was drooling from his maw as he struck at you in the same way you had stung with your own kagune, quick jabs that made it difficult to block or dodge and with three of them he wasn't making it easy.

Not to be out done you retaliated with the opening stages of what would be a game ending strike. As Kaneki attacked once more you leaned to the side and lunged for his middle kagune, sinking your jaw into the soft RC cells. The tense muscle flexed and recoiled but you held on, tasting the familiar metallic taste of blood, sweet, delicious blood. The animal came back at you with his other two kagunes but you grabbed them with your claws, hands gripping the flesh while the claws dug in, careful not to just cut through so he could regenerate. Your main kagune raised above your head, the hardened bulb opening up like petals on a flower, dozens of small tendrils extending towards kagune so they could drain him while your stringer sank itself into his brain...

Kagune lunged forward with a blood lust you'd never seen before and threw himself on the tendrils and bit down, tearing them out and consuming them. Pain ripped through you as your kagune went wild, flailing around like a wounded snake without reason or control. You screamed and your arms faltered and for a second Kaneki overpowered you, slamming you to the floor and leaning over you as he went for another bite for your throat. Your forehead slammed into his with a brutal headbutt, knocking him back as you lifted your legs up and kicked with all your strength. Both feet connected and sent Kaneki rolling across the ground, shifting your weight onto your back you kicked out again as you pushed against the ground with your arms and landed on your feet. Kaneki had already started charging and once again you leapt to meet him. Rolling under his assault you came back to your feet flawlessly under his guard and punched his stomach with an upper cut, he was lifted off the ground with the raw force but as he rose you grabbed his ankle. Spinning on your heel you slammed your arm down, bringing Kaneki down like a rag doll as his face went through the concrete.

"I got you now you..." Your comment was cut off as his tentacle suddenly sprung up and punctured your stomach without warning, blood was streaming from the wound as well as being coughed up from your mouth. Kanekis head turned with a ghoulish hunger, slowly turning a hundred and eighty degrees to look at you. He lifted you up and slammed you into the ground, then into a wall of the waterway, before finally throwing you towards the water. Using your pincers as a way to slow yourself down you punched them into the concrete, leaving a trail of broken rubble as you came to a stop. Growling under your breath you looked back up to see Kaneki back on his feet, his human eye focused on you and his red ghoul eye rolling around in his head totally independent of the other.

"Meat, tasty delicious meat..." He mumbled in a delirious fashion, his voice high pitch and feminine. "I want it, no, no i NEED it. I NEED YOUR FLESH, NEED TO EAT. EAAAAAT IIIIIIT!" He screamed and ran straight back at you again, a tentacle swung at you but you slapped it aside with your claw  while his other kagune wrapped around your right arm, constructing around the limb and crushing down on the pincer, stopping you from opening it. His other two tentacles came flying at you, your left pincer caught on but the last went around, behind your legs and coming up aiming for your spine. There was no where to dodge to since he had a hold of your arms and your scorpion tail was still out of commission so you couldn't simply block it. Letting go of his right kagune you pulling hard with your right arm, dragging him around to your side, throwing off the aim of his attack and causing it to slice your waist lightly, the blood loss stopping almost as soon as it started.
