Our town wasn't always like this. At one point In time we were all merged together as one. We did everything how we wanted hung out with who wanted and loved who we wanted to
But one day a great divide happened.
The "Angels" went on one side and the "Devils"went on the other.
The Angels were known as the good in the society, they spend most of their time doing good for the community.
The Devils however, live up to their names they're the rebels, he menaces to society, the most despised.
There were also two classes
The fortunate and The less fortunate
This happened because apparently the Angels were "Too Good." To live with The Devils.
I was a Fortunate Angel
But Chresanto wasn't.
He had been placed on the side with The Devil's
He told me He'd been placed on that side because he was Less fortunate.
I always wondered if this was true because Chresanto's home was fairly large. Almost identical to mine.
We had fallen in love before the divide happened and separated us. He would always come and sit by me on that little bench I loved to sit on the one that was shaded by trees but gave off a perfect view of the society from their I saw everything in a wider perspective children playing, people talking I could hear the melodious laughter of others and somehow all of these sounds combined to me were beautiful they were what I looked forward too each and everyday. Chresanto told me I was wasting my life by just sitting on that bench watching others when I could be out and about living my life... He showed me all the perks I learned in life he showed me what having fun was a feeling no one else had ever felt before in this diverse place.
He would go above and beyond to see me now. He would sneak past the Stupid (as he would call them) Guards to meet me at the electric fence that kept us separated we would slip our fingers through the holes just to feel each other's touch one time. On the nights he did meet me at the fence we would talk about life and what we would do if we ever got out of this place. And after all that We would Say "Forever." To each other ten times exactly. meaning no matter what happens in our lives we will love each other forever.
I would do anything for Chresanto and I know he would do anything for me.
So if he wanted to run away I was willing to run with him until we couldn't run anymore.
I knew the risks
But they didn't matter at this point. I was just focused on Chresanto and I.
