Chapter 3

We all decided to walk and sit down at the Cheesecake Factory. Better than being outside, with the wind picking up. The booth we were seated in was right in the front and next to a window so we could see everyone walking and laughing outside.

I looked at Shelly and a smile grew on my face. She looked so different. Happier. 

Ken, I finally figured out their names, looked just like her. They sat across from each other, laughing and in their own world as they talked. 

I bit my lip and looked away. 

Anne smiled at me and I couldn't help but stare at her eyes. "Has anyone ever told you you have pretty eyes? Green, like seaweed."

Everyone's attention turned to me. 

"This is officially creepy. How are you and him so alike?" Kendra, BTS sweater girl, looked at me in awe.

"What are you talking about?" The smile was still on my face but I was confused. Everything I did seemed to remind them of him.

Andrew spoke up. "When we met BTS a few years ago, it was at a fanmeet. Hoseok said that Anne's eyes looked just like seaweed..."

My eyes focused on him, trying to understand what he was saying. He locked eyes with me. It took so much for me to not keep eye contact. To ignore the hidden meanings he was trying to say.

I looked at Shelly and opened my mouth. When nothing came out, I closed it again. I then turned back to Kae, her blue streaks looking darker in the light. "It does look like seaweed..." I let my voice trail off and instead furrowed my eyebrows in thought.

Shelly rolled her eyes and laughed. "(Y/n) you're cute." 

Before I could respond, the waitress stopped by our table and took our drink orders. While the others were talking, I stared out the window, deep in my thoughts. How alike were we to even think or say similar things? I've heard of soulmates being so alike that's its creepy, but I wouldn't think I would be one of those soulmates. 

My attention drifted back to Shelly and Ken. Leaning across the table towards each other. It was weird watching them, but at the same time it stirred up something in me. Jealousy?

"Sprite?" 

The waitress held the drink up, looking for the person it was for. "That would be me." I grabbed the drink when she reached over the table to put it down. "Thanks."

Kendra and Andrew shared a look while the others smiled. I brushed it off and looked at the waitress. "Could we order now?"

"Sure. Are you guys all ready to order?" The others nodded and the waitress began taking orders. 

When she got to me, I could feel everyone's attention on me. I rose an eyebrow. "I would like the bacon cheeseburger please."

The table got silent for a second except for Shelly who went on to order. Once we all finished, the waitress collected our menus. 

"Why were you guys staring at me when I ordered," I laughed and looked at Anne. "It was very awkward."

"Sorry, it's just Hoseok always talks about Sprite and Hamburgers being his favourite thing when he's in the US." 

A laugh bubbles out and I couldn't stop it. "I always order Sprite and Sierra Mist at restaurants. It's just in case my stomach starts to hurt, plus it's good." 

Andrew rested his head on his hand and smiled. "It's crazy how you two are so alike. Insane." Andrew shook his head and just looked at me. I saw Kae glance over at him. I copied his movements and rolled my eyes. 

"This makes me anxious to meet him Andrew. So how long have you been a fan?"

"Since they came out, we all have actually." Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

"Have many times have you met them?" 

Kae raised her hand in excitement. "I've met them the most. 5 times and counting." She smirked at Kendra, who flicked her off. I laughed at the two of them. 

So they've met my soulmate and had more interactions with him than me. Now that I think about it, I'm sure tons of fans had more interaction with him than me. Especially the Korean ones. I'm sure some are prettier too.

I looked at Andrew and Anne. I wanted to ask if he's ever dated anyone, what they were like, if they were pretty? But I didn't want to come off as insecure. Instead I shrugged my shoulders and took a sip of my drink, thinking of another question to ask. There was so much to ask, but I didn't want to waste it on small details first. I wanted the big scheme of things.

Maybe I could ask about their company. That would do me the most good at the moment.

"Hey, can you guys tell me about BigHit? I'm interested in them as well." 

When I asked the question, Kendra looked at me like I was crazy. "Most people want to know about BTS. Not their company."

Before I responded, Shelly beat me to it. "Well when most people get here, you can tell us about BTS. For now, spill the tea on BigHit." 

Kendra shrugged and went on to tell us about how they started off as an underdog, why they don't accept girls in their company anymore, and who works at BigHit. By the time she had finished explaining everything, with remarks from the others as well, our food had arrived.

All conversations about soulmates and BTS stopped. We ate as if we hadn't eaten all day. Which obviously wasn't true because those pretzels were amazing. 

Once we had finished and all our food was either gone or put in Togo plates, we started talking once again.

"Enough about BTS though, get a load of these two", I remarked while gesturing to Shelly and Ken. 

Shelly's face flushed and it was honestly the first time I had ever seen her blush. It was actually cute.

Ken looked at me and smiled. "It's funny that your soulmate caused us to meet  as soulmates. Thanks (y/n)." He highfived me and I offered him an awkward laugh.

"Yea... no problem Ken." I tried to smile wholeheartedly but something in me just couldn't do it. Even so, I smiled nonetheless.

Andrew glanced at me and then back at Ken. Shelly decided to say something as well. "(Y/n) just being friends with you period is amazing."

This time I did smile with my whole heart.

Wow so this update is long overdue amirite?

I know this was supposed to come out on Hoseok day but I ended up doing some rewrites for plot reasons. Also I was supposed to update WML not OS so that's fun lol 

Anyways I hope you guys enjoy this kinda not really filler chapter as I get in the flow of writing again.
