Age: 12

"Austin please! No!" I cried.

"Cmon' Wyn, don't be such a baby!"

"Austin please! I'm scared!"

"I'll be here the whole time Wyn, you'll be fine." He said.

"But what if I fall? What if I just can't do it? What if -"

"Wyn! I will stay with you the whole time, I will catch you if you fall!" He reassured me.

"Promise?"

"I promise!"

I sighed.

"Now get your butt on that swing!" he said playfully, pushing me toward the swing set.

I slowly approached the swing set and placed my hand on the swing. Suddenly I was shoved onto the swing. I looked up only to Austin grinning.

"Ready?"

I gulped. Slowly, there was pressure against my back as Austin was pushing me.

"I still cant believe this is your first time on the swings Wyn!" he laughed.

"Shutup." I glared at him. "They are truly terrifying."

"Hey! Your on one now and your doing fine!" He exclaimed winking.

I laughed and clung onto the swing for dear life.

He pushed me higher and higher till eventually I couldn't go any higher. I screamed like there was no tomorrow. The pressure disappeared and I saw Austin standing in front of me clapping.

"NOW PUMP YOUR LEGS WYN!" He yelled.

I nodded and started pumping my legs. I was doing it! I was actually on a swing! I threw my hands in the air but suddenly lost grip on the swing.

This is it, im going to die. I flew through the air and screamed shutting my eyes. I braced for the ipact but it never came. Slowly, I opened one eye and then the other. I looked up and saw Austin laughing.

"I think you got a little excited there Wyn." He winked, still holding me.

"Shut up." I said blushing.

"Hey! I told you I would catch you! And see! Your right here in my arms! I, Austin Mahone, do NOT lie!" He protested.

I giggled.

"Yeah yeah. You caught me. My hero!" I said gasping, adding it for effect.

He laughed.

"Hey um Austin?"

"yeah?"

"Care to put me down?" I asked laughing.

"Oh yeah...Um sorry." He blushed setting me down on my feet.

"Don't worry about it" I said messing up his hair.

"HEYYY! MY HAIR!" He whined.

I laughed as he hurried to re-set his hair.

"Hey! Lets go down to that old field!" He exclaimed.

"The one your mom used to take us to for picnics?"

"yeah!" he smiled.

I nodded, "Lets go!"

He took my hand in his and smiled, "Wouldn't want you getting lost now would we?!"

I laughed, "That would be quite awful"

As we approached the field he broke out into a full on sprint, dragging me with him. I tried keeping up, but darn him and his track ability. I gave up and he just ended up pulling me with him, keeping me at his pace. When we reached the field he collapsed into the grass. I laughed and fell by him. My head was laying on his chest and we stayed like that, watching the clouds. We watched the trees sway back and forth and the birds fly in the air.

"Look! That cloud looks like.....like a plane!"

"That one looks like a pirate ship!"

'No! Its totally a bunny."

"Austin....thats does NOT look like a bunny."

"Yes it does!"

"No it doesn't!"

"Can't you just let me be happy!" he cried out laughing.

I giggled. "Alright cry baby." I joked.

He laughed and we both fell silent.. Not an awkward silence, but a comfortable one. I smiled as the sun slowly set. As it went down I shivered.

"Here, take this." Austin said, slipping off his jacket.

I thanked him and slid it on.

He stood up, brushing off the dirt and grass on himself.

"Come on, we better get home before your parents freak out." He winked.

"Yeah I guess." I sighed standing up.

He linked elbows with me and off we went.
