Sicheng pulled Jungwoo up by his arm.

"Did that dickhead even apologise?" He asked.

"N-no," Jungwoo groaned, massaging his shoulder as he and Doyoung began to collect his books.

Distantly, footsteps pounded along the next corridor.

"Come on Woo, let's go to class," Doyoung said, looping his arm through Jungwoo's, "You coming?" He asked Sicheng and Taeyong.

"No, I've got a free period. How 'bout you, Tae?"

Taeyong didn't answer. He wasn't even listening. His eyes were fixed on a point between his feet. It was like he'd been put inside of a bubble, a bubble that no once could see into and that he couldn't see out of. He'd been like that ever since the fight with Jaehyun...not that he was going to tell anyone.

"Tae!"

The distracted boy jumped, his head snapping up, "Huh? No. I...I'm busy."

Doyoung shrugged. When Taeyong was like this, there was no getting to him.

"Meet at the canteen for lunch?" Jungwoo said, hugging a pink folder to his chest. Cute.

If I weren't super gay for Yuta, I'd totally be super gay for Jungwoo, thought Sicheng.

Sicheng's nodded. Three pairs of eyes turned to Taeyong, but his mind had already sunken back into his own world. Doyoung sighed, shaking his head.

"We'll see you later."

Taeyong, for all that he cared about the tigers and doted on them, hated being pitied or cared for...unless it was Jaehyun caring for him. Sicheng's had asked him that one question - 'Are you alrigtj, Tae?' - and had been all it took for Taeyong to explode like a stick of dynamite, shouting at Sicheng for some shit or the other.

It got to the point where he wasn't even saying words, just spitting out strings of noises. It would've been funny, but Taeyong could be terrifying when he was mad, so Sicheng had stood silently until starting had burst into a flurry of tears and ran away.

He knew Taeyong felt bad for snapping at him. He was like that sometimes. He'd hold everything in until he snapped at anyone - everyone - and he'd feel terrible about it, yet he couldn't build up the courage to apologise. It pissed Sicheng off a little, but he'd come crying back apologising soon enough.

The younger was more pissed that he had no one to spend the next hour with.

He strolled down the corridor, seeing nobody to spend his free period with. How was it that nobody he knew shared this one period with him? Apart from Taeyong, but he had made it clear that he didn't want to be bothered.

Sicheng pushed open the doors of the canteen, thinking that if he had no one to spend the next period with, he could at least eat.

Cos eating fixes everything, you know?

His heart almost stopped when he saw who was at the front of the long hall, purchasing a plate of fries.

None other than the Nakamoto Yuta.

He had spoken to him at all since the night of the party - which felt months ago now, though it had only been a few days.

When Sicheng had woken up, Yuta had been nowhere to be found. A quick message had been scrawled onto a yellow sticky note in Yuta's blocky writing, still unused to the Korean way of writing that was not as fluid and clean as the Japanese style. Sicheng had been forced by his parents to perfect his Korean before he had even left China. Mistakes were not tolerated in the Dong household.
