Don't forget to vote and comment!Someone yanked my headphones off. "Fuck! That hurt." I screamed.
I turned to see the asshole that had snatched my most prized possession away from me. Chris was looking down at me, a sly grin on her face. She waved her phone widely. "I got a date!"
A very animal like growl escaped Finn's lips at her outburst.
She glared at him. "What does that mean?"
He feigned ignorance. "What does what mean?"
She intensified her glare and he threw his hands up in surrender.
"Fine," he drawled out "your date might just turn out to be another Dice or Simon or Matthew."
"Or Troy or Lucas ." I added.
"Or Jake or Dewy" Zuke chipped in.
"Or Daniel or Collins." Sterling chimed.
"Okay I'm flattered you guys remember the guys from my past" - I rolled my eyes at that - "but this one's different. Dean is awesome.
"You got hooked up with a Dean? Way to go Chris." Finn mumbled.
"What's wrong with Deans?" I'm also confused.
"They are shit." Sterling deadpanned, his mouth full of food. Asshole.
"Yeah, there's one on our basketball team and he's an ass."
Wow. Some advice this guys give.
"That's fucking crap guys. You can't use one Dean to label all others. Its not done."
I gently took back my headphones from Chris, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Your date's gonna go great."
I was mistaken. As in dead ass mistaken.
Chris had called me immediately after her date and fed me the details in a quavering voice. Dean had turned out to be the world's dipshit guy, asking Chris for sex and attempting to rape her when she declined.
Fortunately, Chris and I had tutored each other on what to do in such situations. Kick the male where the sun didn't shine and run as fast as your legs can carry you.
She rambled on her experience to the guys the next day at lunch, my eyes daring them to say I told you so. That didn't stop them from throwing her rebuking looks though. She popped a fry in her mouth muttering to herself never to go out which got my ears flying.
Chris not going out was like telling me not to write songs. It was impossible.
Zuke and Sterling exchanged their phones, trying to beat the other's high score in a game of Family Feud. Chris was scrolling through her Instagram page and Finn was sketching something so I deemed it the perfect time to head into musical world.
Barely a minute of bobbing my head to French Montana's Famous, someone yanked my headphones off. Twice in two days.
"Why the actual fuck -Fletch?"
A smirk played on his lips. "Hey."
"What you want?"
"I can't just say hey to my sis?"
"Is that a question you don't know the answer to?"
