I fucking love going out to have fun. I do. What I don't love is the part before going out; dressing up. I would totally wear the same fucking thing everyday if it wasn't disgusting.

Mum is popular in the fashion world, being a celebrity fashion designer herself so you'd think I wouldn't have that problem. Truthfully I don't because I have a huge walk in closet with a lot of clothes to choose from. The problem exactly is always what the fuck exactly to choose.

That is the problem I have now.

"Shit!" I screamed out my frustration. If I don't know what to wear to just a party then I'm not normal. Now that I think about it, the only clothes I managed to pick out for myself without problem was what i wore to school. Chris picked out the rest. Otherwise, the clothes I'd have worn to more than half the places I've been to would've been wrong. As a Brester, I've been to places.

The knock I heard got me running to open my door, like whoever was at the other side was a saviour.

"Hey." I breathed.

Finn's girlfriend, Suhannah stared at me weird. "Were you looking for your black headphones again or what?"

I let her in and shut the door. "Or what."

She literally ran from the door, did a front flip and landed perfectly on the bed. "Is it clothing problem then?"
The look on my face answered the question.

We went to my closet and the first thing she saw made her scoff. "What is it with you Americans and jeans?"

"Su you're American." I pointed out.

"My name is Suhannah, I'm Indian." She countered.

"You were born here. You live here most of the time. Besides, you're only half Indian. Your mum's American."

She clapped. "Wow Aura thank you for that unnecessary speech about my origin. You know you shouldn't be talking. You too are only half American. Your mum's Italian."

"Sì Sì. Now can you shut up and help me?"

By the time Ethan texted me that he was outside, I was ready and Su was on a video call with Finn. I walked outside, my eyes taking in the black SUV he had brought for our date. A bark echoed behind me.

"Ivan, go inside." I said to my dog who had followed me. The retriever simply ignored my instruction and came closer until it was between my legs. I rolled my eyes and lowered myself, ruffling its ears. "Come on boy. Go inside. Go play with Sebastian okay? I'll be back soon, I promise." Ivan stared at me for a moment before dashing back into the house.

I knocked on the car window and Ethan rolled it down, a smile on his face. "Hi. I like your dog."

"Thanks. Yeah if I may ask, is this your car?"

He breathed a laugh. "Nah. It's Enoch's."

I got in, already tucking in my seatbelt. "Which brings me to another question. Why don't you call Enoch Dad?"

I heard a sneer behind us. "Is there a rule that says all fathers should be called dad?"

I whipped my head around, anger rising in my chest at the sight of Don in the back seat. I turned to Ethan. "What the hell is he doing here? Don't fucking tell me he's going to the party too."

"He's not ..."

"And if I am?" Don cut Ethan off.

I narrowed my eyes at him. Ethan sighed. "Try to shut up man. She's already hates you and you're not making it any better." To me he said, "Belle he was at my house and now he's heading for Samantha's. Her house is on the way so he asked for a ride."
