Driven a hundred miles
Our backs on top of car
My wish was spoken out
For the first time in a while

'Sometimes I feel like
If my heart is big enough
I could really love someone
For an eternity.'
He described to me

Oh darling
I'm jealous of how effortless it is
For you to talk about eternity
As if you know there will be a day
Where you will wake up
Knowing yesterday was already
The end of an eternity

But there is no end
And that is why
I couldn't handle the weight of the word

'I wish I could live to know
How long exactly an eternity is.'
Was all I said

A/N: Fun fact, I literally got so emotional writing this lol. Cuz the last 'stanza' basically means 'I hope I could experience how it'd feel like to be loved by you for an eternity', or maybe the idea of eternity did shooketh me after all.

So... Let's talk about it.

Technically, yes, there shall be an end to eternity. I mean there is an end to everything, right? Nothing lasts forever and even Stephen Hawking predicted there will eventually be an end to our universe.

But literarily, there's no end, because that's clearly what the word itself means. Maybe it's beyond our understanding of time. 'If there is no such thing as time, I could love you for an eternity.' <new prompt lol. But whatever!!!

Can anyone understands what I said? Lollll Never mind then, I'm not even sure what I just said. Anyways, I don't want to talk about it in depth yet (as if we haven't?). I'll update when I have time. Love ya!
