Levi's POV
"Hanji... will you calm down a bit?" I stood about five feet away from her with a 4-year old Raven behind me.
"D-Daddy? W-What's wrong with Mommy?" She asks as she carefully tugged on my shirt.
Turning towards her, I kissed her on the forehead and held her hand tightly. "Nothing's wrong with Mommy. It's just... your little sister is coming."
"By the birdie?" She tilts her head and looks out to the window. "I don't see any birdie..."
I chuckled, picking her up and slowly walked towards Hanji. "Don't worry, Raven. We gotta take Mommy to the hospital right now. And... I'll get you donuts, okay?"
Her smile perked up and wide, "Yay! Donuts!"
"Just like her mother..." I whispered under my breath. "Come on- Hanji, need my help?"
She sighed heavily, "L-Levi... I'm fine... I handled... Raven-" She kept yelping more in pain and Raven kept clutching my shirt.
"Raven... stay here, okay? I'm gonna help Mommy to the car. Or... do you want to get Poppy and help me with Mommy?"
"I'll help! I'll help!" She laughed loudly as she ran towards her room. Few minutes later, she comes back with her tiny doll in her arms. One of my first gifts to her, and when she was able to talk, she named the doll Poppy. "I'm ready!"
I chuckled, taking her hand and aiding Hanji towards the car. I never wanted Raven to leave my sight... I never did. After Erwin's assassination, I hid Hanji and Raven from Geterson... and I still feared for him. He never showed his face- never returned to his job. And I had no way of tracking him.
Opening the car door, Raven hopped into her car seat and waited for me as I aided Hanji in the passenger seat. Once Hanji was groaning in the passenger seat, I went back to Raven and buckled her up. "Daddy!" She shouted out loudly, and hugged me. "Daddy, can we have donuts right now?"
I chuckled, "Not now. After Mommy is in the hospital and after your sister comes... then we can get you and Mommy donuts. I promise you. Okay?"
She looks down with disappointment, "Okay Daddy..."
I kissed her on her cheek. "I'll get you... two donuts this time. Anything you want. For being a good sister and a big sister. And one of the best daughters I ever had!" She giggled and held Poppy tightly. "Alright. Let's go!"
"Yay!"
* * *
I chuckled softly as I saw my second daughter come into the world and Hanji held her softly. Raven was too busy looking outside to see a bird, and I felt bad telling her that lie. But... I felt that it was the right thing to do.
"Daddy... I don't see a birdie..." Raven sighed heavily and turned around- but her frown turned into a happy one. "Sister?!" She jumped onto my lap, making me groan in pain, but she was too excited to see our baby.
Hanji chuckled softly, "Come here, Raven... see? You're a big sister now..."
We both nodded to each other as we were ready to introduce Raven to our baby. "What's her name?" She asked as she slowly poked Iris' cheek.
"Her name is Iris Allison Zoe-Ackerman." I say to her, kissing her cheek. "And you're her older sister."
"Mommy, can I hold her?" She pleads as she crawled into the hospital bed and snuggled up to Hanji. "Please? I won't drop her."
Hanji smiled softly. "Alright, hold your hands like this. Daddy can help you too. You ready?" She nods and Hanji carefully placed Iris in her arms. I helped Raven hold Iris and chuckled. "Shh... it's okay..." Hanji said softly to Iris as she began to fidget.
Raven smiled as she held Iris. "S-She's heavy..." She complained but she held her ground.
"Hanji, watch them. I'll get you guys donut-"
"I wanna come!" The second I mention it, Raven jumped with joy and happiness. "Please, Daddy? Please, please, please?"
I chuckled, kissing Raven's forehead. "Alright, fine. Let's go then. Hanji, can you handle yourself? You know... with Iris?" I looked down at her with worriness... and she knew about Geterson... she was afraid of him as well... Raven didn't need to know the horrors about the person going after her.
"I will, Levi. Go and get me my donuts." Hanji shooed us out of the hospital room and went to get her donuts.
