After a month, I wanted to show Raven off to the station- but my plan was going to investigate again on Levi's case. I disliked using my own daughter... but if it means that Raven can have her father- I'm willing to do it.

About 2 minutes away from the station, Raven began to fidget and whine. "Shh, it's okay, Raven." I pleaded with her. But she still kept whining and began to cry. "We're almost there..."

We then arrived there and I quickly got out of the car to get Raven. She continued to cry until I unbuckled her and held her close. Once she was leaning onto me as I closed and locked the car doors, she kept quiet and cooed softly.

"Hanji!" I looked up to see Nanaba, smiling and opening the doors for me. Her smile was gleeful and open. "I got your old desk set up- with a temporary baby crib. Um, doughnuts- practically everything ready for you. Erwin's... he's somewhere."

I chuckled walking into the cool building. "Thanks, Nanaba. Once more- taking care of me."

Immediately, I walked to my desk and seeing the crib there. I chuckled and gently put Raven in there, kissing her forehead. She cooed softly and grabbed my finger, gripping it tightly. Her father's strength alright... and hopefully she can be more like her father.

"You're back, I see..." I turned to see Erwin, looking down at me and Raven. "And you brought his child with you..."

Raven cooed loudly, putting her tiny fist in her mouth as she laid on the bottom of the crib. "So? She's my daughter."

He simply sighed and looked down at me. "I said you could come back when your baby is 7 months old. She looks... about a month or so."

"Erwin, technically, I took the leave and I decided I was fit enough. Besides, Raven should be fine- I have her here. I'll take good care of her while you guys go out into the field. I'm not gonna go into the field yet- just... handling paperwork." A smile crept up onto my face, "Bet you were stressed with all the paperwork. I should take at least half of the load, Erwin."

He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Fine, you win. Get some of it done. No whining. If I hear that damn baby cry its heart out- it will not be able to come back here-"

"One, it's a baby. What do you expect? And two, that's cruel. Everyone cried as a baby- especially you- and it's normal. Now shut up and leave me and my baby alone." Erwin growled and walked away towards his office. Smiling, I looked down to Raven, chuckling as she smiled with her gums. "Don't worry, little one... I'll make sure you're safe."

"Officer Geterson." I called to him, holding Raven. She was too stubborn to sleep, so I decided to walk around the station to attempt to soothe her. "I want to talk to you. Concerning about Levi Ackerman. You know... the case before I was put on maternal leave."

He chuckles, smiling. Something... felt off about it. "It's been closed, Detective Hanji. Case has been closed: Levi is guilty. That is it. He no longer has power. The filth is gone from the world and the street."

All I could do was sneer at him. Raven cooed softly, waving her tiny fist in the air, reaching for my hair. Ignoring her, she began to bite into my hair. "Levi is not filth, Geterson. He's a person..."

Geterson chuckled, leaning towards me and whispered: "I should've put you down for defending a piece of shit like him." He grins as I stepped away from him, covering Raven defensively. "What? Levi is filth and deserved to die. His actions... perfect."

"Y-You're a monster... why would you do that?"

He begins to laugh. "He's filthy and deserves to die! And you aided him. I thought police officers here were pure- but no. You're filth as well... having his child... I knew I should've killed you back then-"

"Something wrong?" I turned to see Erwin entering the room, closing the door behind him. "Hanji? Joseph?"

My mind turned off as I rushed towards Erwin. My motherly instincts told me I had to get Raven away from Geterson. "He... he's the real killer, Erwin. He framed Levi... he's the unsub."

"Joseph Geterson, did you really do this? Did you really reveal yourself to the only other person that could arrest you?"

"E-Erwin..." I looked at him with confusion. "So... you are working with him? I-I suspected, but... I didn't think so..."

He looks down to me, sneering too. "I always wanted that little rat to crawl away and die. But... apparently, he manages to crawl out of tight spaces and wait things out. I loved you, Hanji... but then you went and fell for a dirty rat like him. You... loved him... you slept with him... you had his child. How could you, Hanji?"

Raven began to cry with her tiny fists balled up and gripping on my shirt and hair. "I loved Levi, Erwin... he, made me realize. Made me realize what was going on on the streets. And... Raven is my daughter." My hand wrapped protectively around her head as she cried more. "Raven stays. She's innocent."

"She's filth!" Geterson then walked towards me with his gun. "You're impure, Hanji Zoe. You turned impure by being with Levi."

"Stop... it's my daughter. Don't touch my damn daughter."

"Joseph. Don't. We're in the station." Erwin smirks, looking down at me. "Besides... we have a witness. Hanji, if you do want your little rat to be out of there... I need you to do me a favor- well, multiple ones."

His growing smirk sent shivers down my back. "What do you mean?"

"None of this gets out to the station. Otherwise, I'll drag you down with us, and your little baby is sent to foster care. And... I want you... one night, Hanji. Just... one night. Levi won't know anything..." With every word, he stepped closer to me. His hand reached out to my chin, raising me to look up at him. "Hear me, babe?"

I scowled, hearing him call me that. But... if it was a chance for Levi... I had to make my choice here- else he could attempt to change it. "F-Fine..." I say, looking down with guilt and my heart began to shatter. Raven continued to cry, but I held on to her. "I'll do it, you bastard..."

Erwin chuckles, his hand on my head. "See you at my apartment, Hanji. You know where I live. Let's go, Geterson. We got paperwork for Hanji's little disgusting rat."

They both walked out and I began to cry to Raven. "I'm sorry, little one... I'm... a failure. Daddy... Daddy loves you. And Mommy does too..." Raven cried softly and she reaches up to my glasses, pulling onto them. "I love you so, so much, Raven... and I'll do anything to be the perfect mom to you..."
