It was friday. The last day of work for the week. You sighed as you were done dressing into your pastel yellow sweater and black pants. You walked over to your mirror and looked at your reflection. It bought a smile to your lips. You grabbed a lock of your hair and twirled it around your index finger, thinking to yourself. Maybe you could do your hair differently today. Your usual hair do was casual, and you didn't really want anything extraordinary, just a bit of a change. You closed your eyes and let your hair shift into two small buns on the top of your head. As you looked at it you found it looked kinda cute so you continued getting ready. You hurried into your kitchen and ate some breakfast, then refreshed yourself in the bathroom before putting on your white sports. You grabbed a coat and your bag and opened the door. You almost bumped into the person in front of you as you exited your house. You looked up and was surprised to see none other than Penny in the same human form he was in the day before. You were about to greet him with a smile as the memories of yesterday flooded into your head and made you blush and not able to talk for a few moments. But he smiled nonetheless and greeted you. "Hiya sweet tart!" He chimed and you finally got your smile back. "Good morning Penny~ What are you doing here?" You asked him and he chuckled. "Well, I thought I could walk you to work again. Or can't I?" He asked and you shook your head. "No, of course you can! I'd be happy to have your comany." You replied and started walking along the road next to him. You watched him for a while, feeling how your cheeks became hot. It was still kInda embarrassing around him especially after yesterday's events. You looked down to your feet and the two of you walked in silence for a while. "So...Something actually happened at night." You said, breaking the silence, making him look up at you with interest. "Really? What happened?" He asked you and you smiled. "Someone visited me." As soon as you finished he stopped and stared at you a bit wide eyed. "Who was it? Why would anyone visit you that late?...Did you invite them?" He suddenly asked and you blinked a bit at his sudden questions . "Nonono, I didn't invite anyone at all. He just shoved-" "He? Who?!" He suddenly cut you off which cought you off guard. You smiled to yourself. Was he perhaps jealous? You thought to yourself and shook your head to calm him down. "Don't worry! It was a burglar." You said, as if that sounded any better. "I played a little with him then killed him off. Was his own fault for choosing the wrong house." You said and Penny's shoulders relaxed as he chuckled, starting to walk again. "Sounds just like something you would do." He said and before you could say anything back at him he spoke up again. "I was actually thinking we could maybe do something together this weekend." He suddenly said and you grew happy. He was inviting you to hang out. It made you all excited. "I'd love to! It's always fun with you around." You said, trying to hide your blush that was slowly forming on you cheeks. Which you succeded in. Or at least you hoped you did. The clown smiled to himself and bumped his shoulder against yours. You gasped and did the same but stronger, making him stumble a bit. He of course grinned and was about to bump into you again but this time you stopped dead in your tracks making him almost fall sideways. This made you burst out in laughter and he soon joined. It was always fun to be around him. You continued to walk until you finally reached the grocery store. You stopped in the parking lot and turned to penny with a smile. "Thanks for walking me here. I'll have to go now..." you paused before asking. "Will you get me after work?" You asked hoping it didn't sound too cheesy. And the redhead couldn't stop a smile from spreading on his cheeks. "Of course Y/N." He said and you grinned at him and hugged him before skipping to the sliding doors of the shop.

You stood behind the counter and were just counting the cash as Dana slowly walked up to you. "Hey.." She said awkwardly and you looked up to her. "Hey." You greeted her back, not paying much more attention to her. She sighed as she grabbed a nearby mop and walked over to the shelves to clean. But her gaze didn't leave you for a second. You finally gave in and sighed. "What is it? I know you've been watching me for a while." You spoke up and she furrowed her brows and shook her head at you. "It's just..You've been acting weird ever since that situation on the parking lot. I hope you're not mad at me.." She said and a part of you wanted to laugh at her, but you held yourself back. You only sighed as she waited for a response. "You're right, I was acting a bit weird. Sorry...It's just when I saw you with him I felt really.." You stopped, trying to think of the right words to describe the feeling you had. You tried to think back to the situation at hand. When you saw her flirt with Penny, all you could think of was how many ways there were to rip her guts out and spill them all over the pavement before the shop. But what was that felling called? "Jealous?" Dana suddenly spoke up, tipping you out of your thoughts. It was true. Realization hit you hard and you could t believe it. How did you not notice? You obviously liked him! You were acting that weird cause you couldn't stand the thought of her having even a minimal chance with the clown. You face palmed yourself and sighed deeply. She was right. "I'm so stupid..." was all you could say which earned a sigh from your coworker. "Y/N it's ok. It happens with everyone. And if he really is that special to you I'll keep my hands off. Friends again?" She asked you, nudging your shoulder gently and earning a small smile from you. She did know how to kInda make up for it. You thought as you nodded. "Fine. And I promise I won't act that childish again." You said and the both of you laughed it off as you continued your shifts for today. At least now you knew for sure. Your feelings weren't unknown to you anymore. And you had a date to look forward to. Which you obviously did. You could feel your heart beat fastening just thinking about it. Thinking back to his invitation made you blush.
