It was getting dark by the time you were done with work. You sighed as you waved goodbye to the last customer. Your coworker walked over to the door and turned the sign over, at least now the shop was officially closed for today. You smiled at the thought of your shift being over in a few mins. It wasn't that you didn't like the job, but you had to admit it was a bit annoying to be all nice to each and every customer. You watched as Dana started mopping the floor and you walked over to the shelves to start ordering and rearranging foods an drinks. You looked at the clock above the counter. It was 5:50pm. You worked 10 hours a day but you didn't really mind, after all you didn't need as much sleep as others. You went over to the counter, walking into the dressing room to change out of your work clothes and into your own. You grabbed your bag and walked out, looking around for Dana but you couldn't see her anywhere. You pondered for a while before shrugging it off and you started walking towards the exit. There she was, on the parking lot. But she wasn't alone. Someone was talking to her and you smiled. She really seemed to set flirting above all, even her own work. As you reached for the door handle you stopped suddenly. The person she was so eagerly talking to...it was Pennywise. Suddenly you felt your hand grip tightly around the handle. You stared at them through the glass with a furious look. Before you could think of a reason you already acted without thinking. You leapt out the entrance and walked straight towards them. As Penny looked up he smiled, but as he noticed that your focus was completely glued to your coworker, he dropped it. Dana turned around and you stared into her eyes with hatred. She jumped a bit as you grabbed Penny's arm and the aura around you seemed to frighten her a bit. She stepped back and you suddenly dropped the glare and smiled up at the clown, completely ignoring her. Before she could even spoke up, you did. "Hey! Thanks for waiting~We can go now, if you're done talking." You said, glancing sideways at the girl. Your voice was joyful, which did not at all belong to the situation. He blinked at you for a few seconds, looking a bit confused before smiling at you broadly, maybe even a bit amused. "Of course sweets. Let's go" He said, playfully winking at you which earned a confused look from Dana. You chuckled and turned to her with a blank expression. "See you on friday." You said and she only nodded as the both of you walked off the parking lot. After she was out of reach, Pennywise suddenly started to laugh out of nowhere. You looked up at him, now growing conscious of what you had done on the parkinglot. You had allowed the yet unknown feelings to take control. You felt embarrassed but also ashamed that he had to see you like that. You stared down at the ground and he slowly calm himself down. "That was just-" "-hilarious? Yeah I know..."You cut him off feeling humiliated. But he ignored your remark and ended his sentence, while smiling at you teasingly. "Adorable." He finished and you suddenly felt your cheeks tingle warmly. All you wanted to do, will sink into the ground and does appear. He chuckled at your reaction and came to a halt, making you stop and look up at him confused. "We're in front of your house." He said and you almost face palming yourself. Great! This day couldn't get any better. You hurried over to your door and grabbed your keys, but dropped them. You sighed And were about to reach for them as Penny held them out in front of you. You didn't even see him pick it up. You smiled at him and he smiled back, holding your hand and turning your palm upwards. You stared into his blue eyes seemingly hypnotized by them, pulling you closer and closer until you lost all sense of time itself. Penny pulled you back into reality by squeezing your hand softly. You blinked and felt the key laying in your hand. You became flustered yet again, but this time not out of shame. You felt your heart race and you felt like one of the balloons the clown always had with him.Empty, but you still felt something tingling in your stomach. You felt like you could fly away any moment now but still, something kept you in place. You felt silly how shy you suddenly became beside him. You cleared your throat and unlocked your door. Both of you said goodbye and you were about to close the door, but stopped. You ran towards penny's back, jumping onto him. He stumbled forward but stood his ground, joining the laughter. Both of you laughed for a while as you climbed off of him. You hugged him and gave him a kiss on his cheek. The redhead flushed bright red, but tried to keep his composure. "Uh.. y/n?" He asked and you squeezed him a bit more before letting go. "Hmm?" You hummed, trying to ignore your ridiculously fast beating heart. He smiled at you as he stared into your bright f/c eyes. "Nothing. Sleep well~" He said and bent down towards your face. In case you thought your heart couldn't beat any faster, well you were wrong. You thought your chest might burst as you closed your eyes not knowing what might happen next. Suddenly you felt something soft on your nose and as you opened your eyes you blushed. Penny had to kiss your nose. A big smile appeared on your cheeks and you hugged him one last time before saying good night and closing the door behind you. You started with your back pressed against the door breathing heavily. You couldn't stop smiling and couldn't stop thinking about how soft his lips Felt on your skin. You walked towards your sofa in a daze and took off your coat in the process, throwing it onto the ground next to the couch. Maybe it was a habit of yours, who knows. All you could think of was your clown friend. You walked to the fridge, starting to unwrap a plate. You sighed and sat down at the table, starting to dig in. "Hmm, still as delicious as ever~" You smiled as you finished it and then proceeded to wash the plate afterwards. You decided to get ready for bed, since you didn't have anything better to do.
-few mins later-
You sat in bed scrolling through your phone, reading news articles until you felt tired enough to lay down. Your phone on charger, you stretched and started to daze off with a certain redhead in mind. In a matter of seconds you fell asleep peacefully.
