The best friend code is really important. Many of you know it and if not let me explain. The best friend code consists of never have a relationship with someone your best friend has feelings for. What does that have to do in my case well Joanna one of my best friends dated Carlos and well they had strong feelings for each other. To tell you the truth I was the one to help them talk to each other about breaking up. No I didn't break them up actually Joanna asked me to talk to him if he wanted to break up cause they weren't going to see each other that much. I really did feel sorry for them I cared about both of them very much, even if I did have feelings for Carlos. It's was hard for Carlos to say it was over I know it was. But what made me feel even sorrier for him was that like a week and a half after they broke up Joanna already had a new boyfriend, kind of messed up right. When Carlos found out he said ok but I knew him he was heartbroken. Two months have past since Joanna and Carlos broke up and Carlos seems happy again and it looks like Carlos is over Joanna. Carlos found out I liked him was but I told him it was a long time ago and he just said it was ok. I could not let him know I like him, no way in a million years Joanna would kill me I would rather not take the chance.
