"So you're the puto who broke her heart, huh?" Adriel asked with a gleam of maliciousness in his eyes.
"And you're the bitch who she friendzoned,"was Abel's retort.
"Abel shut up and put the damn gun down."
Suddenly the gun was directly in front of Adriel's forehead. I held in the gasp, ready to beat the crap out of Abel for this. Who does he think he is?
"Te vienes conmigo o le vuelo la cabeza a tu amorcito," Abel growled through clenched teeth.
(Come with me or I'll blow your little loves head off).
I had no doubt he'd pull the trigger. Adriel had no doubt he'd do it either. So I gave him a look of utter despair and resignation, begging him with my eyes not to try anything. I won't have his death on my conscious because of Abel's stupid fit of jealousy.
"Fuck you," I hissed the minute I was within Abel's reach and his arm pulled me to him.
"No, sweetheart," he murmured into my ear so that Adriel couldn't hear, "I'll be the one fucking you."
As disgusting as it was—considering his behavior—the way he spoke the words really turned me on. God, how screwed up can a person be?
"In your dreams," I retorted, not letting the fact that that he was getting to me show, "take me by force and I swear to you I'll have the cops on your ass the minute I'm free."
These words didn't sit well with Abel as I felt his fingers tighten on me. He continued to point the gun at Adriel as he dragged me to his car, "you'll never be free of me."
Once we were inside, a man I hadn't noticed before began to drive away. Leaving a bewildered Adriel behind. As soon as Adriel was out of sight I elbowed Abel and grabbed for the wheel. The man at the wheel swerved to avoid a dog and struggled to get me off of him. This lead to him slapping me in the face, causing me to fall back against Abel.
I cringed as I felt my skin burning from the impact. The man in front spoke as he finally got ahold of the wheel, "I don't want to hurt her boss, but someone should keep her in line."
I cringed even more at his words. Who is he to tell Abel what to do? And who is he to treat me like some wild animal that needs to be tamed?
"Keep me in line?" I growled, jumping off of Abel and onto the man, "You wanna treat me like an animal, I'll show you a fucking animal!"
I grabbed onto the mans face, ready to claw his eyes out. Before I could do much damage there was a hole in his head, gushing blood. I fell backwards against the passenger seat, my hands and clothes covered in blood. Dread and horror washed over my face at the sight.
"Well, this is a mess," Abel said, making me recoil and want to shake him because of how calm he seemed.
"H-how could y-you just ki-kill him like that?" The stuttered whisper left my lips as I continued to stare at Abel in shock.
