Aly's POV
"I am not gonna miss my flight, just give me a minute," I groan as I hug Audrey for the last time today.
"This is why we get here early, but please just get to your gate." Luke smirks at me.
I laugh and give all of them one more hug. I don't exactly want to leave but I know that I need to. I need to go see Felix an Gloria. She needs a break.
"Alrighty then," I smile as I give Ash a hug. "You guys be good, no one get kicked out or arrested while I'm gone, understood?"
"Understood," they all chuckle. I grab my carry on from Ash and smile, that's when I realize I forgot the book he gave me last night. I mean the second book he gave me. I don't remember the title, shit.
"Alright, I'll text you guys when I land okay?" I smile before waving them off.
"Be safe!" Mickey yells at me when I get a bit further away from all of them.
"Love you guys!" I yell back. I continue walking towards security and feeling like I'm leaving a piece of myself behind here.
Security is not a huge deal in Australia as it is in the US and I am not exactly looking forward to customs once I get back to the states. The security like everything in Australia is so laid back, I don't have to take off my shoes or anything really. It's real weird for me.
Once through security I head towards my gate, which is relatively easy to find. I look at my ticket and I realize that I have two connections before I reach Phoenix. I have to hit Dubai and Boston. Lovely. I put my beats headphones on and close my eyes. The music of Fall Out Boy fills my ears and I want to just fall asleep; however, I know that I'll need to board soon. I can only hope that I'll be able to sleep on the plane. It's a 14 hour flight so I hope to dear god I can sleep.
* * * * *
The plane touches down in Phoenix Sky Harbor and I have not slept yet today. Apparently I can't really sleep on planes. I am exhausted and I just want to sleep in my own bed. I can only hope that my parents remembered that my flight got in at 8 pm tonight.
I text the guys and Audrey that I have landed in Phoenix so they know I didn't die. I also text my Tia and dad so they also knows I didn't die. I grab my bags and head to the waiting area. It's pretty quiet with it being at night. Usually it's a lot busier.
My phone buzzes and it's Audrey calling me.
"Hey you," I answer smiling.
Hey how was the flight? I hear Aud's voice and it's so freaking comforting.
"It was good, long as hell. I didn't sleep between Dubai and here. I had a layover in Boston. I am so messed up on my time zones. What time is it there?" I ask while I look for my parent's car to pull up.
It's 2 here. Michael shush I am on the phone... yes it's Aly. No don't you- I hear the phone drop and I start laughing.
Hi Aly! I hear Michael's voice on the other end now.
"Mickey did you drop Audrey's phone?"
It fell onto her bed it's fine. I laugh so hard and I already miss being there.
"Just don't break it. You guys doing anything with the rest of the day?" I want to distract myself since neither of may parents have showed up or texted me.
