Aly's POV
"I won't be gone that long," I laugh as Michael hugs me. It's the last night before I head to Tucson.
We are in Audrey's room because she can fit all of us in there at once, also we wanted to have Christmas early and with each other. Aud decorated the room and it looks so nice. There are a lot of snowflake cut outs and it's real cute. We made hot chocolate and have gotten gifts for each other.
"It'll still feel like forever," Aud whines as she sips her drink.
"I'll face time you guys every week and we can catch up. I guarantee I'll be wanting to kill my parents at least that often if not more," I smile at my group of friends. I am going to miss them so much. "It's only a month."
"A month is a long time," Michael whines. God between Aud and Michael it sound like there are a bunch of small children in here.
"You'll be fine, now are we going to exchange gifts now?" I smile as I start to hand out the gifts to the boys. I made each of their gifts because I am upper crafty.
"Yes," Luke laughs before taking the nicely wrapped box from me.
"Yay!" I smile, I just want to see their faces when they see what I've made them. I didn't care if I got anything, I just wanted to give them something. It actually was quite cathartic and helped me keep my mind off of everything.
Michael is the first one to tear open his box. There is a very bright smile coming from him when he realizes what it is. "What...how?" I had knitted him a beanie and decorated a picture frame with a bunch of different colors on the frame. It's all the colors he's dyed his hair since I've met him. The picture is of him and I after one of their concerts I went to earlier this semester. I made each of the boys one. Each just a bit different.
"I made it," I smile at him.
"You made this?" Mickey looks at me with wild eyes as he holds up the beanie.
"Yeah."
"Holy shit. Thank you so much Aly!" He gets up and gives me a hug. He then hands me his gift and I hug him tightly.
"You are so very welcome."
The rest of the group opens theirs, Calum got a Beanie to and the frame was decorated with turtles. Audrey got a beanie too and her frame had Disney Villains on the outside. Luke got a scarf and his frame looked like a guitar. Finally Ash opened his and he looked a bit confused.
"What is this?" He asks looking at me weird.
"It's a drum sticks coozie. It holds the sticks together so you don't lose them. I know it's kinda dumb," Ashton cuts me off.
"It's really cool. Thanks Alice." He smiles warmly at me. Since he's sitting right beside me he gives me a hug. It feels so good whenever he hugs me.When he lets go he picks up the picture frame. I decorated it with shells I had picked up from when we were at the beach a couple weeks ago. The picture is also from that day, it's us sitting on the beach with his arm around my neck. I love that picture, it reminds me of that amazing week where we didn't have a care in the world. I also got the best sleep of my life. I haven't slept that well since we've been back.
"Open mine!" Aud yells as she hands me her gift. I laugh as I take it.
I don't know what it could be so I'm a bit nervous, but it's probably good. I tear the tissue paper out of the big ass bag she handed me. I feel something hard and I don't know quite what it is. I pull it out and my jaw drops. It's a motorcycle helmet, but it looks like she repainted it red and black to match my Vespa. It's got really beautiful designs on it and she even put a small cursive RQ on the back.
