Peace

Peace is good....

Hard to achieve, hard to maintain
Hard to perceive, hard to contain

Hard to believe since we're still caught up in self blame
Hard to unweave since the excuses we make are so lame

Even hard to be a wish, since we're busy being thrilled with hell of emotions, lost in a vicious game
And scarcely our dish, since we're still living in a fantasy, where every thing looks the same

Peace is a dim timid fish, swimming away from our minds right as we wake
Peace is yummy knish that we can't get ourselves to eat as too good we did make

Peace is a dummy kid, shuffling barefoot, looking for food but grabbing no plate
Peace is that aid that was promised in the war, arriving there but then always too late

Peace is that faith that was stollen and torn apart, whining sad, destroyed by people's hate
Peace is that wraith that was once hung on a wall with love but was soon taken off after a debate

Peace is a piece of beat missed with in a kiss and hit and kicked my swirling bliss.
Peace is a piece of meat that was stolen by the Greedy Dog but dropped into the river by mistake of his.

.... peace is definitely good.
