Do you remember when
My heart you abdicated
I wanted to ask you then
What about it you had hated

'Cause since it got abandoned
It hasn't been like before
Doesn't believe even in axioms
And everything it does abhor

There used to be some times
When my heart was astute
But know it says nothing
Like it has suddenly gone mute

And there was a perfect time
The days and night were balmy
But now it's just a storm
Just a big raging tsunami

I can't help but notice
It's lost all its elegance
And to make it hurt more
It has changed its allegiance

It's too adept in hiding things
It won't let the tears show
Otherwise, I pass you too often
For you to not know

It's hurt itself so much
Now it's all scared and bloated
It feels like a sunken boat
Which had once floated

Like when flowers are removed
And the vase is left vacated
Dusty, alone and dulled
Was my heart, once abdicated...
