"Up next: an update on yesterday's incident at the U.A. rescue training center where hero course students were attacked by a gang of villains. According to new police officials, the criminal forces called themselves the League of Villains. Investigators reportedly uncovered this group has been plotting to kill U.A. teacher and popular hero All Might since the spring of this year. Police arrested 72 villains at the scene but the league's leader escaped. His whereabouts are unknown." Kagamime and I stopped, tuning into the broadcast as it ended.

"Wow, 72 villains? I had no idea they snuck that many in." I turned to her as she fidgeted on her bike.

"W-well I'm glad that you and y-your classmates are okay. Mostly..." She placed a foot on her bike pedal, and we started going again. U.A. had given all of their students the day off probably to give us a little break, but no one could really relax. We were headed to our secret path, that held an even greater secret within. When we first discovered it, while we walked along Oogami saw a gap in between the trees that was a smaller path. If you turned on it, there was a clearing deeper in the forest that gave you a clear view of a small lake and a few boards were nailed onto a tree. We assumed that someone else used that place as a secret hideout at one point. Of course, we went ahead and claimed it as our own, and whenever we were bored that's where we went.

"Shhh... Oogami is here, and she's prepared to scare us." Kagamime whispered as she walked her bike down the trail. I turned mine into a large bush that was split in half, perfect for parking and hiding it from prying eyes. Sometimes I wonder if her sensitive hearing was really a drawback to her quirk.

"Darn Kagamime! You got me again!" Oogami popped out of a tree, hanging by her legs. Kagamime leaned her bike against a tree and kept walking, ignoring the monkey girl.

"Hey! Don't ignore me!" She yelled as she swung down. I giggled as the clearing came into view. When we first came here, it was small, only a few feet in diameter. Now, from us being idiots, it could be half the size of a football field. Once Oogami thought it would be brilliant to make a flamethrower... And you can probably see how that went. That was the time I almost drowned her by trying to use the lake water to put out the flames. Yeah, the lake was quite tiny now for many reasons. What we started doing was taking seeds off of the trees and making sure they get planted, and hopefully someday in the future, it will be like we were never here, except for the burn scars on the surviving trees.

We came here to get away from everything. It was basically the middle of nowhere so people couldn't tell us what to do. Also, we could use our quirks and it would take quite a lot of flamethrowers to get noticed out here. It was also the only place I've ever seen Kagamime take off her headphones.

"So, what are we going to do today?" Oogami asked, perching herself on one of the boards.

"Well, you gave me a thought." I walked over to a sapling next to a dead tree with burnt bark and kneeled in front of it, making sure it was healthy.

"What thought?" She tilted her head as Kagamime disappeared from view. That was normal. We guessed she went deeper into the forest since she loved the sound of nature. One of the things Oogami and I will never quite understand about her.

"Well, if I wanted to play with temperature and not bother anyone, here would be the place." I stood up.

"I see! Did you think about how you made it happen?" She jumped down, running over and grabbing my arms.

"We only talked about this last night, Oogami. But yeah. It was when our teacher Mr. Aizawa was in a losing battle against that Nomu, and I was afraid for him. Then my classmate pointed it out that I made it hotter somehow." I told her, making random hand motions.
