I ended up not going back to sleep. After I took a shower and replaced my sheets, I got dressed for school and waited. Sitting in class, I was writing in a notebook about my newfound ability to mess with the temperature outside. It opened up so much, but basically all I cared about was being able to make clouds. Clouds were the key to all sorts of weather-related things. Even if it was just blocking off someone with a sun-related quirk, it would give me the advantage. Thunderstorms would be a major asset, figure if I could fine tune where the lightning struck. That would probably be a while until I had enough control to do that. Fog, or just low clouds, would be really helpful as a smoke screen, and hail would be really good for taking out large groups, minus property damage, until again, I learn how to fine-tune my control.
Thinking about the entrance exam and the quirk assessment, I used things I haven't had the chance to touch on again, like flinging myself in the air and when I split that robot's leg in half. Both of those things were really difficult, but I already know how to do them. Should I refine those things and wait on clouds, or do I try to learn something new and shove those things to the side?
"Hey Fubuki. What are you doing?" Uraraka asked out of nowhere, surprising me. My pencil flew out of my hand and hit Bakugou in the back of the head. Uh.... Oh...
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR YOU GEEK!?" He screamed, clearly ticked off. Midoriya just walked in the room, panicked out of his mind.
"It was just a pencil, Bakugou..." I walked over to his desk, picking it up. Everyone else stared, that I was willing to walk over there so casually. All other conversation halted.
"THAT HIT THE BACK OF MY HEAD!" He yelled, small explosions coming off his hands like firecrackers.
"I think you just need a reason to be mad at me for the entrance exam. That's it, isn't it? Or you're just being yourself. That could be it, too." I turned my back on him, but my dream came to mind, his body crumbling into dust. I turned my head back, making sure he was still there. Still the same pissed Bakugou. My double-take confused him, but he said nothing of it.
"I'm sorry for startling you." Uraraka bowed, clearly upset.
"No need for that. My own fault for not paying attention." I replied, placing my bandaged hand on the back of my head. All other conversation started back up again about how we got some screen time on the news from the USJ attack. "You asked what I was doing, right? Just taking notes on my quirk. I found out something new yesterday."
I noticed that Todoroki was listening in next to me. I guess he was curious.
"Oooo what did you figure out?" Uraraka tried to peek into my notebook, but I closed it on her.
"It's a secret." I put a finger on my lips, making her pout. Todoroki looked disappointed, but said nothing.
"Come on! Tell me! Well, maybe you could talk to Deku about it. We know he's always taking notes." She shook my shoulders violently, but I didn't give in. She pouted again and went over to her seat.
"Attention! Class is about to begin! Everyone, please take your seats!" Iida ran in, standing at Mr. Aizawa's little podium.
"Uh, you're the only one standing." Sero stated nonchalantly.
"Dang! It!" He clenched his fists as he sat down.
"Don't sweat it." Uraraka replied playfully behind him.
"So Tsu. Who do you think is gonna teach class today?" Ashido leaned back in her chair, Tsu catching it before she fell.
"No idea. Mr. Aizawa is still in the hospital recovering from his injures." She replied as the door slid open.
