G's P.O.V

I showed up at her house the next day. Her couch was pretty comfortable with one cushion near the end that sagged. I smiled remembering the familiarity I felt with this couch. It was an old couch, but a good one.

The girl wasn't in her room, the door was open. She wasn't even in the house. I wondered where she'd gone and decided to just chill here until she got back.

I could go a while without food or even water so worrying about that wasn't a problem. Besides, I didn't really feel like moving anyways, as I said before, the couch was comfortable.

I'd fallen asleep once before hearing the door open. I looked over at the door and paused.

Yesterday I'd whistled at her outfit, it had been a nice red turtle neck with dark jeans and it looked good on her. But what I saw now was something...unexpected.

A bright pink tank top with frills over the chest covered her top half and a pair of booty shorts covered her hips. She wore leggings underneath them, but I still got a pretty good view of her legs.
It was sexy as f***, but it didn't suit her.

"What are you doing back here?" She asked frowning at me.

I blinked at her startled, how had she realized I was here without me making any noise?

"Where have you been?" I asked raising a brow. My eyes wandered over her outfit again, a frown tugging at my teeth.

"I asked you a question first." She stated walking towards her room.

I got up, setting a hand between her and the bedroom door.

"I know." I said simply. "I'm here because I'm curious." I smirked lightly, she was feisty. It almost made me forget about her whereabouts and start teasing her just so she would pout at me like a puppy. Or better yet make a snarky retort that could make me laugh. It felt good to laugh, especially when she was the one making me laugh.

Suddenly I felt her fist hit my shoulder. It wasn't a very hard punch, she was just shoving me out of the way, but I still frowned.

"What was that for?"

She headed into her room. "You were in my way, and you lied." She said simply before shutting the door.

Oh no, I wasn't gonna take that bulls***. Not right now.

I teleported through the door slamming my hands on the door, pinning her between me and it.

"I didn't lie, I am curious. That's why I came back here. I'm also curious about the way you're dressed, you don't seem like a the kind of girl to go around in public with booty shorts." I stated simply, and that was my nice way of saying 'I didn't think you were a s**t.'

She instantly folded her arms over her chest as she leaned back against her door. Her expression was cool, but I could see that she was trying to stop shaking.

"I was at work. I would like to change with you out of my room." She told me with a firm frown.

I stared at her for a minute before flicking her forehead.

"See? Was that so hard?" I asked before teleporting back onto the couch.

I waited for her to come out of her room, which she did eventually. This time I took a few more seconds analyzing her outfit when she came out.

It was a short sleeved lilac shirt with long navy blue jeans that had frays on the knees.

She didn't say anything as she went into her kitchen and started pulling stuff out of the cupboards.

I watched her for a minute when she suddenly spoke. "You came here because you were curious right? About what?" She asked, but her tone had a slight warning to it. I hummed playfully.

"I wanted to know your name, that's all." I shrugged nonchalantly.

She turned around and frowned at me, folding her arms. That seemed to be her 'stop it' pose.

"And why should I tell you?" She asked making me sigh. Yeah, I kidnapped her, but was she really holding a grudge?

"Welp! I guess I'll just have to call you DollFace." I smirked. Her expression didn't change as she turned back around so her back was facing me.

"Why?" She asked setting her hands on the counter.

"Why what? DollFace?" I asked with a smirk, teleporting behind her. I hadn't noticed her shaking until now.

"Why are you here? What do you want? I haven't done anything." She muttered clenching her hands on the counter.

I paused, was she assuming I wanted something from her? I mean I did, but not anything serious.

I set my hands, gently, on the sides of her shoulders.

"I just want a few answers." I murmured softly. "I want to get to know you."

"Why?!" She asked spinning around to glare at me.

"Why do you want to know me so badly?!" She asked, raising her voice.

I stared at her face for a minute. There were a few marks around her eyes, I'd assumed they were freckles when I'd first seen them but now..being as close as I was I could see that they were scars. They were fading nicely, but they were still there.

"Because you're amazing." I told her quietly. She paused, obviously she hadn't expected that to come from me, but it was true. She was a human, small and weak. Yet for some reason she went into a fire and had possibly flaming splinters shoot straight into her face and eyes...and she'd survived. Most flying projectiles like that would have gone straight to her brain, it could have killed her. Yet she stood here today, blind but strangely stronger than before.

She visibly swallowed before looking away, as if she could.

"Why did you go in there if you knew there was a fire inside?" I asked quietly.
She stayed silent for a minute before finally answering.

"I went back for my brother."
