I sighed softly in relief. My shift had been longer than usual, but I'd finished everything and was finally heading out the door.

As I left, I felt that strange stare like before. I grabbed a bottle of cheap wine and started down the street listening again.

There was no sound, But a shiver ran up my spine as I approached an alley. I didn't hesitate before swinging the bottle to my right. To my surprise, it shattered.

"Well that wasn't very nice."

My eyes widened at the voice and I let go of the bottle top, running down the street. He gave chase. His steps were sloppy, just like the last time we'd seen each other, except he was gaining speed. How could he run so fast when wasted?

I slid across the corner of a house and booked it down the street just trying to shake him.

I hid in an alley and heard him run passed as I practically held my breath.

Once he'd passed me by, I ran out and bolted in the opposite direction. Dashing across the street, I ran down the side walk. When I finally stopped running I was out of breath and bent at the waist to catch my breath. I was almost home, I just had to get inside.

A shiver ran up my spine and I barely side stepped his tackle. How had he followed me!?

I ran passed him only to have my ankle yanked out from under me. I yelped before hitting the ground hard and being dragged backwards.

I kicked at him, managing, I think, to hit his face. Cause after a few kicks, he let go. I scrambled to my feet and went to my door. If I could just get inside, maybe I could call the cops.

I hit the door with my body when he slammed into me from behind, knocking the wind out of me. I tried to gasp in air as he grappled me, turning me around.

"Oh, is this your place? Looks cozy~" His breath was hot on my face as he panted like a dog. I gritted my teeth as I kicked at him, just trying to get him off of me.

"Get...off." I wheezed, he was crushing me.

"Aw~ But we were just getting close~." Somehow, he got even closer, one of his hands grabbing a strand of my hair. I could hear the smirk on his face as he spoke.

"Are you going to keep teasing me?" He asked as I squirmed trying to push him off. But my arms were pinned and I wasn't hitting anything with my legs. Even when I did, he barely reacted.

"Get off of m-"

Suddenly my door opened, I panicked thinking he'd opened the door when my back hit something, or someone. An arm wrapped around my midsection as the guy was shoved off of me. I gasped in air before instinctively grabbing the arm around me to keep me on my feet.

I felt leather covering their arm. But before I could ask who was there, the smell of smoke reached my nose.

I stiffened, my head spun, and my legs grew shaky as the smell filled my head.
The person holding me spun me around to stand behind them, which didn't help the dizziness at all as I ended up, falling to my knees behind them.

"Listen, I've been having a pretty s***** day pal. But I haven't been having as much of a bad time as you're gonna have right now." It was G. I recognized his growl.

The Smokey smell grew stronger and I found myself choking as tears filled my eyes. I couldn't breath.

My heart was beating so hard, so fast, it hurt. I wasn't getting enough air. Heat came from outside, but I felt as if it was burning me. What was happening to me!?

After only a few minutes, I heard my door shut with a large thud and G turned back to me.

"Doll?" He asked as I fell over, I was loosing consciousness.

"Oh s***!"
