Suggested song: Better by Khalid
As soon as I wake up I know that last night I made a big mistake going to bed too late.
My mind hurts and I can't keep my eyes open.
Today I'm going back to my routine and although I've been ignoring the thought, it also means my courses.
Before leaving the apartment without any noise so that Cami doesn't wake up.
I pour myself some tea in a thermos, then put it in my backpack where I have some books and my pencil case.
While I'm driving, I listen to some good music through the car's speakers to try and make my 'back to school' happier.
LA's campus is always crowded and I'm happy to spot some familiar faces next to some vending machines in the building F.
I'm sure they attend my same Economic course, because they were sitting in front of me last time.
I don't remember their names, so I ask them politely.
I hope they don't take it personal, I probably wouldn't remember my own dog's name if only I had one.
They say they are Clare and Brian, and as I'm thinking they would make a nice couple the bell rings and we hurry into the class.
I'm happy to sit next to these friendly guys and I'm even happier to find out that we have almost every course together.
The first three hours have flown by and I must admit they haven't been boring at all.
There are excellent teachers in here, and I mentally thank my parents for letting me come to this city.
Before reaching block 3 building B to attend the last lesson of the day, I stop by the cafeteria to buy a snack.
When I sit in the back row of the class the teacher hasn't arrived yet.
I take out my schedule and realize this is the Italian class.
Just so you know, I like the language, but I have only decided to take this course because it gives me extra credits, and I'm well aware I've been taking it lightly.
A woman dressed elegantly comes in and starts speaking, it's pointless admitting I'm not understanding much.
At the end of the lesson I almost faint out when the teacher tells us to hand in our 2000 words essay on Friday.
Great, I have only 5 days to come up with something.
I take out my phone and call Cami to ask her if she's nearby the college, so we could hang out a bit before starting to study again.
Unfortunately she doesn't answer and I head to the car.
It takes me 25 minutes to get to the apartment and when I ring the bell no one answers.
