Virginia's POV
'Where are you going' Jeff says bewildered.
'I'm going home, Zane is sleeping on the couch, if you need him' I answer him hastily.
'It's dark outside, it might be dangerous' Is he just trying to look worried?
'No I'll be fine. Have a good night' I say heading to my car.
I get in and I don't even turn to see his face. I start the engine and leave.
Jeff's POV
Earlier that night
Back home I was feeling strange, the kind of strange that makes you hate having anyone around.
After greeting Zane and Todd, I started walking to the nearest club.
I am sitting here now, drinking shots with the only company of my thoughts.
I am about to go on with the next drink when a girl approaches me and touches my left shoulder.
I turn to see a beautiful blonde girl. She seats next to me and she starts talking.
I know what this girl wants from me and what she came here looking for. I don't know if that's what I want right now.
She is clearly flirting and I can't deny that I like it.
We take a few more drinks together and I begin to slowly change my mind about this girl.
She's spretty hot and my hormones have the best on me. Again.
I decide to take her home with me, even if I'm still not sure how far I'm willing to go.
I get home and I realize that I didn't take my keys before leaving earlier. I ring the bell.
The girl keeps touching me and I'm too drunk to stop her even if I don't like being touched like that.
I can't believe that the person who opens the door is neither Todd nor Zane. It's Virginia.
When she opens the door she doesn't even seem that surprised to see me there with a girl.
'Where are you going' I ask seeing her hurrying outside.
She slows down to turn around and look me in the eyes, then she confidently answers
'I'm going home, Zane is sleeping on the couch if you need him'
My drunk mind doesn't even process what's happening. Why is she here and I didn't know it in the first place?
