Chapter 9 - Not Him!

Y/N P.O.V.

Ethan pulled me aside and he say down on the picnic table.  I leaned against a tree beside it.

 "What's up Eth?" I ask smiling.  I hadn't talked much to him in a while, but I don't feel weird because of how long I've known him.  I was wrong, I should have been more cautious.

 "Nothing I just... Is it true you're saying Lijh?" I look at him for a second, hesitating, then say,

 " Well, yeah.... I mean I did spend the night with him and like, we kinda went out on a date before.... ". His question through me off.  He just nodded at my response.

" Cool... I'm happy for you, and for him just-" he got up from the table and.leaned close to me.  My back was still up against the tree so I couldn't move.  He was super close to my face and whispering now.

"I may not be as popular as he is but eh, I'm still here you know...." I looked away but he grabbed my chin, pulling me closer.  He kissed me but I didn't kiss back.  We stood there a while, him kissing me.  It was different than kissing Elijah.  Somehow, Elijah was just... Better.  And kissing Ethan was like kissing your brother.  Suddenly we both here a gasp from behind us and he pulls away.  It was Elijah.

Sketch's P.O.V.

Seeing Y/N kissing my brother, I didn't know what to do.  I just kinda stared, heartbroken.  Before I knew it I had punched Ethan, hard and in the stomach.  He staffers to the picnic table and sat down.  I just looked at Y/N.

 "You seriously couldn't wait?  I ask you to be my girlfriend and the next day you go kissing someone else?  And my brother?" She looks taken back and close to tears.  I want to hug her and apologize but she hurt me first.

 "Lijh!  I wouldn't do that to you!  He pulled me in... I, I didn't kiss him!"

 " Oh sure, cause it really looked like you did!  No, it's my fault.  I just assumed you were my friend since you moved in and I liked you.  My fault for making that mistake. " As soon as the words leave my mouth I realize I've went to far.  I turn and see Y/N's hurt expression.  She runs off a tear rolling down her cheek.  I just look at Ethan and run off in the other direction.  I blew it, he blew it.  Why did he have to kiss her?

Ethan's P.O.V.

I watch Elijah run off.  What did I do?  Why did I kiss her?  I don't even like her though.  Sure she was cute but she was dating my brother, and I was really happy for them!  I guess I was just jealous... Jealous on how much attention he was giving her and how little I was getting now-a-days.  He was my brother, my best friend.  And did I just ruin his chances with Y/N because my stupid feelings for hurt?  I see Sub, Alex, Denis, and Corl walk up to me.  I just shake my head and get up, running after Elijah.

I see him getting into the Ferris wheel, probably to think things over.  Pushing past people about to line up and yelling sorry over my shoulder, I shove a.ticket in the man's facw.

 "I'm with him!" I simply say forcing. myself past him.  He just shrugs and closes the door.  I turn to Elijah and he looks like he's about to punch me again.  We go up.

 "Look man I-"

 "Why did you kiss her?  You know how much I like her!  And why did she kiss you?  Have you been doing this behind my back for a while now?"

 " Well technically you've been dating for like a..... ". He glares at me and I stop and realize I didn't come here to make him mad.  "Hey I, I don't even like her man.  So just listen to me.". He relaxes a bit and then jumped again,

" Then why the neck did you kiss her? "Both

" I, ever since about a few weeks ago you haven't really talked to me as much.  You've been hanging out with Kate and Y/N, leaving me behind.  I barely hang out with you anymore.  I guess I'm just jealous, and took it out on Y/N.  I didn't mean what I said to her, and I didn't mean to kiss her.  But I just want to say I'm sorry, and she didn't want to kiss me.  She didn't even kiss back!  I am seriously so sorry dude." He just sits there in silence, looking over the carnival since we're at the top now.  Then he just quickly hugs me.

 "Hey, thanks for being honest but this doesn't mean I forgive you." He smiled at me and then got a strange look.  " What did you say to her? " I laughed and shook my head.

 "You know, I should probably talk to Y/N, and so should you.  It might be a little awkward but, let's not ruin the day because of this."

 " Shoot!  You're right!  I have to talk to her!  As soon as this thing stops I'm gonna find her. " It stops and we both bolt off.  We run past The Pals to another little picnic area on the other side.

"You go first, bro." I say and he walks forwards.

Y/N P.O.V.

When I ran past The Pals I felt all sorts of things.  Anger, sadness, awkwardness of I'm being honest.  I say down at a picnic table across from the to her side of the ticket booth.  Kate ran up to me and say down, her hand on my back.

"What happened?". I just hugged her and tried not to let a year fall down my cheek.

" Ethan... He... I....  Ethan, he.pulled me over and we talked then he, he kissed me!  And Elijah saw and he-"

"He kissed you?  And Elijah saw?  Well when I see him I'll..." I looked at her and she stopped.

" But Elijah he said... He said that he regretted liking.me, and I didn't kiss Ethan, he didn't know... And I ran, and he ran, and I'm sorry for ruining you're day with dramas Kate!" She Hugged me again and said,

"You didn't ruin anything Y/N!  Stay here!  I'll go by some fries or something and we can have a mini girls talk! ". She ran off leaving me at the table.  It was great having a friend who cares so much.  She came back with fries and we are them and talked.  Then I looked up to see Ethan and Elijah running towards us.  Elijah stepped up to the table.  Kate just looked at him not knowing what to think.

"Can I talk to her Kate?  Um, alone?" He asked.

"Don't go blowing up at her again!  I'll be right over there Y/N, so just tell and I can come back." I realized how she can be when she knows her friend is hurt, not at all as shy.  Elijah sat down across from me and we started at eachother.  What did he have to say?

"What do you wan-" I started but was stopped by....
