Chapter 19 - More Movies <3

Y/N P.O.V.

Elijah and I stood, staring at everyone.  It was like time stopped when we got down, they were all frozen and staring back at us.  I glanced at Kate who was in the middle of all the chaos and we burst out laughing.  Holding out sides we came together, then everyone started laughing too.

 "So, is this another thank you gift for letting you guys stay here?  I see my whole supply of chips and ice cream piled on the table, a pile of blankets in the other corner, and everyone else having a frickin pillow fight without us?  That's plain disrespek!" Elijah tossed me a pillow and grabbed one for himself.

 " let the batle, commence! " Kate yelled, and we went to war.  About five minutes of laughing and, well, smacking each other went by when I heard a crash.  Sub and Ethan were standing innocently by a broken picture frame from the wall.

 "Okay, okay that's enough of that, childrens!  Let's watch a movie already!" We decide to get to the mess later ( cuz we're all lazy) and plop down on the couches.  I lean on Elijah and he kissed my forehead.

 "What movie are we watching?" Sam asks, sitting down right next to Denis.  I see him blush despite how dark it is.  Ooh, Imma confront him later.  We pass out bowls of popcorn and chips.  There is pizza plates and ice cream bowls for each of us as well.  I curl up into Elijah, a bowl of popcorn next to me.  I notice Denis and Sam are sharing a bowl, cute.

We put on (your favorite movie) and watched through the whole thing.

 "No matter how many times I watch it, it's still my fav!" I say to everyone and Ethan shrugs.

 " I don't know, y/f/m was better the first time it came out, watching it over and over again makes it get more boring. " I fake gasped and threw a pillow at him from across the room.  Sub throws a pillow at Ethan too, and says, 

 "I've never seen it until now!" I gasp at him too.

 " If I didn't want another pillow fight to break out, if Chuck this at you for never watching it before! "  Everyone started laughing as we scrolled through Netflix trying to find another movie.  I lean my head on Elijah again.

 "Feisty." He whispers and I grin.

 " You know it, Lije! "

Sam's P.O.V.

I look at Denis who's sitting next to me.  We were looking for another movie, I was honestly enjoying myself.  

 "Are they always like this?" I ask him and he looks at me.  Grinning, (though I coulda sworn I saw him blushing, too) he replied,

 " Hey, we goofed off like this before in Canada, remember?  And yeah, of course they are! " I grin back and think about then, when I had so many feelings bottled up inside me that when I moved out, we lost contact.  I knew Denis's true love left him when they moved away from college, so I didn't want to risk doing that to him again.  I never told him how I felt, and now all those feelings are coming back.  

Denis was on my left, and Corl was on my right, with Kate leaning on him.  Sketch was on the other couch with Y/N leaning on him, and Alex at the end. Sub and Ethan were on the loveseat across the room.  I kind of stared at Denis, and he stated back.  I practically couldn't hear everyone asking for movie suggestions on the background, Denis and I just seemed to be getting closer and closer.....

 "Sam, Denis?" Y/ N said, pulling us out of whatever Grande we were in.  I was blushing, and this time I was sure Denis was too.  What was that?  They guys were all grinning at Denis, making goo-goo eyes and all.  Kate and Y/N just gazed at me sympathetically.

 "Yeah?" Denis and I say at the same time, making me blush even more.

 " Is 'A Dog's Way Home' okay with you guys? " I nod and Denis shrugs.

"I heard it's not as sad as 'A Dog's Purpose '. " I say, smiling.

"Cool!  We get to watch a movie with a little doggo!" Alex said and we laugh.  The movie starts and everyone grows quiet.  I feel like someone's staring at me and I turn to see Denis.  I smile at him and then, like there was some magnetic force, scooted closer to him.  I leaned my head on his shoulder and felt him stiffen.  Gradually, he loosened up and accepted it.  By the end of the movie his arm was around my shoulder.

Denis 's P.O.V.

At the end of the movie, Elijah and Y/N are asleep as well as Sub and Kate.  Sam has to go and I let my arm off of her.  What was that?  Did she just put her... Did I just put my arm around her?

"I'll walk you out!" I say too excitingly .  Thank God Sub wasn't awake or else he'd be smirking a hole through me (if that's possible).  Corl and Ethan took care of the smirking for him.

"Thanks." She says, quietly, blushing.  She goes to hug Corl even though he's still on the couch, and she hugs Alex too.  She saves to Ethan and we walk out into Y/ B's front porch.

"Nice house Y/N and Kate have!  Make sure you tell Sketch and Ethan that I'm sorry about their... uh... "

"House?" I finish for her.  She nods.  We stand in silence for a bit then she looks up at me.

"It's great to see you again!  I'll make sure to visit more often knowing you're here!" I nod and we hugs me.  When we let go we remain close, inches away from her face.  The same force that pulled us together inside was pulling us in here.  She was there, cuter than ever.  Our lips closer now, they lock together.  I played with her hair and felt her deepening the kiss, I do the same.  After a while we part and I stare into her eyes.  We're both smiling.

"Well then, I'll see you later, Denis." She walked to her car, started the engine, and before leaving the drive she rolled down the window.

" My number's still the same, text me. ". And she was gone.

I walked into the house with a grin still on my face.  Does that mean she likes me back?  Corl was at the bottom of the stairs carrying the sleeping Kate bridal style.  He saw my grin and stopped.

"Have fun on the porch?" He said before going up the stairs.  Alex, Sub, and Ethan were all awake putting away dishes and picking up.

"We're just gonna leave them two down here." Alex said pointing to Elijah and Y/N.

"K." Is all I make out.

"Well, it's only ten, you guys wanna go mess around on Y/B's old Xbox she let me use?" Ethan said grinning at us.

" Is that even a question with us? " Sub said laughing.

"I'm actually kind of t ired, you guys can play without me. " I tell them.  Ethan and Alex look at me confused.

"Can't hide stuff like that from me!" Sub said with a giant grin on his face. " First kissed can be tiring, yeah? " I pushed him, gently and we all rushed upstairs.  While they went into Ethan and Sun's room I went into mine.  And, no I didn't sleep, I stayed up texting Sam.
