I looked at Elijah and his mouth was hanging open.
"OMG! You're moving here? So I won't have to say goodbye?" Kate said, hugging Corl.
"Heh, yeah I guess so!"
"Wait wait wait... where is the house?" Elijah said staring at Ethan.
"Um... about 45 minutes away in Arlington..." ( yes, I had to look it up ) Ethan replied looking at Elijah. He looked... mad? Confused? He looked at everyone around and shrugged.
"I'll talk to you about it later, but now that I'm here, what do you wanna do?"
"Ooh! Lets go to the beach!" I yelled and Kate nodded and replied,
"Yeah! Lets go to the beach! Remember that one time when we went to the beach when we were 9 and we-"
"And we went into the water past where we were aloud-"
"And the lifeguard blew her whistle-"
"And we ducked underwater-"
"And you felt seaweed and thought it was a sea monster-"
"And I screamed and flew out of the water and wouldn't go back in!" I fell over laughing with Kate and the boys looked at us with amused expressions.
"Well, the doctor said I had to take it easy but that sounds like fun! It'll be good to get outside after the hospital!" Elijah said, then he took my hand. "And I swear I'll protect you if we see a sea monster!" I shoved him and everyone laughed.
"C'mon! Lets get ready guys!" Kate yelled, about to go upstairs.
"Wait, but all their clothes..." I started and Kate held up her hand.
"We went shopping like you said too, don't worry Y/N!" I shrugged and took Elijah's hand again.
"His stuff in ma room?" I ask and Kate nods. "Lets go!" I pull him up my stairs leaving everyone, though I can here them get up to come upstairs too. When we get into my room I sit on my bed, and so does he.
"So, am I gonna sleep..." He starts and I smile.
"Yeah, for the time being this is your bed!" I try not to frown at the thought of him moving that far away. I know 45 minutes isn't really that bad but, he's just always been close.
"So, I'm assuming this bag of clothes is for you. Kate said there's swim trunks at the bottom, you can change in my bathroom, just don't come out til' I'm done." I say pointing to the door next to my closet. He nods and walks in with the bag. I look through my drawers until I find a swimsuit I like. i throw it on and put a crop-top, and jean shorts over them. i wear slip on sandals and sit down at my desk.
"I'm done, Lije, so you can come out if you want." I start braiding my hair and he walks out in his swim trunks, he didn't put a shirt on yet.
"This is really what the guys want me to wear?" He says holding up one of his t-shirts. It has Nyan Cat on it and I laugh seeing it.
"There should be another one in there, but it's cute! You could always wear it to bed or something if you don't like it." He nods and throws on a tank top that was also in the bag. I finish up with my hair and look around my room for a bag. I grab a beach bag with a pineapple on it and look at Elijah.
"Anything you need for the beach? Hat or something?" I ask while putting in a sun hat, two towels, and a pair of tennis shoes just in case. He shook his head and looked through the bag. Placing a black hat on his head he said,
"Don't need a bag for a hat!" I laughed and took his hand as we left my room.
"You're so cute." I say and he smiles down at me. We're stopped in the hallway.
"So are you." He says leaning into me. I lean in too and we kiss in the middle of the hallways. I feel him deepening the kiss and I do too. When we part I see Denis, Sub, and Alex standing by us.
"Cute, now lets go to DA BEACH!" Sub said and I smiled at Elijah.
"Duh! Lets go!"
It was the normal format, Lije, Corl, Kate and I in my car. The others piled into the rental ( which yeah, survived! ) When we got to the beach it was noon. Kate and I ran to the trunk to get our stuff. We had grabbed a beach ball, shovels, a large blanket, and a lot of buckets. I looked at Kate and she looked at me. At the same time we said,
"Race ya!" And took off to claim a spot. We found a nice one in the shade, right by the water. I fell into the sand and yelled,
"I win!" She plopped down next to me and we waited for the others to come.
"Jeez, you guys are way too excited!" Denis said laughing. We place the blanket and put our bags down on it. Sub, Alex, Corl, and Denis went to get snacks from a vendor building ( y'know those places? Just me? ). It was me, and Lije. Ethan, and Kate.
"Well, what do you wanna do first?" Ethan said looking at us.
"We gotta swim!" Kate and I said at the same time... again.
"Dang, we're good at this!" I said and she laughed. I took off my shirt and shorts kind of awkwardly and I had this on:

I saw Elijah staring at me and I pushed him.
"Hello? Lije?" He shook his head grinning, and took off his shirt. Ethan had done the same to, and even though it was just the four of us I yelled,
"RACE YA! Again!" We all bolted into the freezing water and dived in life guard style. There were a bunch of little kids, but further along the beach so we practically had the place to ourselves. Something grabbed my leg underwater and I screamed. Elijah popped out of the water and I splashed him, laughing.
"Hey! I'm no monster!" He said, splashing back. Corl and Kate were getting out of the water because the guys were coming back but me and Elijah just stayed there, looking into each others eyes.
"I'm glad you're back!"
"Me too!"
And yeah, we kissed for a while, but it felt good to be in his arms again. <3
