In case you don't know, organization is a skill, to be exact a life skill.
I can never emphasize on how organization has helped me through difficult times but the truth is, I had to learn it.
The fact is organization helps you save time and let you do work efficiently.
I'm not the most organized person on earth but at least I try and it'll be great if we can all make an effort.

Organization applies to all areas of life, I'm talking school, home, office, everywhere. Your mum was right when she said there's a place for everything. It's tested and approved so do it!

It's not one of the easiest skills to acquire but through experience here are a few ways you can practice it in every area of life :

1) Lay your bed.
This is so important. It's one of the first things you must do when you wake up and get ready to start your day. It's practically common sense, how can your day have a good start if your bed is in a bad situation. Think about it.

2) Plan your day by keeping a to-do list.
I dunno about you but I make a mental note of things I wish to achieve and then write it down. It may sound weird at first but it helps me calm down and mentally prepare myself for what is yet to come. You can do this by getting sticky notes or getting yourself a pretty planner. This helps so much so if you're a kind of person who has a busy life or gets easily confused because it's a way of keeping track of your activities and knowing what you're meant to do and where you're meant to be.

3)Organize your room EVERYDAY and not annually.
That's right, not annually! I know it's not very easy to keep your room tidy and looking good all the time especially if you find cleaning difficult but listen up, there's an effective solution to this ever-so-tiring situation.
Do you realize that if you clean up your room everyday it'll save you the stress of doing spring cleaning when other people are? You can achieve this by cleaning your clutter as they come instead of piling them up. So when every one else is busy doing this, you could spend this time relaxing and binge watching movies on Netflix or doing whatever you like. Smart idea right.

4) Prepare for the unforeseen FUTURE.
We don't know what the future holds but it's important to prepare for it. This involves thinking about future problems and tackling them before they come to reality. It also involves listening to your mind. If you think you might need to pack extra snacks for school do it. (I try to always have emergency snacks for the rainy day). If you think you won't have time to cook the next day after work, cook a little extra especially if you prefer home cooked meals. It's also great to have an emergency kit, you know the one with the emergency bandages and sanitary pads if you are a girl.
Always leave room for emergency stuff in your locker like an umbrella, extra pens, breath mints and maybe an emergency pair of pants or a shirt because no one knows. It's a great thing to leave a stress free life knowing that you have some of your potential problems covered before you've even seen them. Another thing you can do is is asking questions when you aren't sure about things to prevent you from being in moments of confusion. Fact, you always need to be prepared! Ohh and as a bonus if you think it, don't wait, just do it. It means if you remember you're gonna need something later do it at once instead of procrastinating cause the human brain is prone to forgetting.

5)Handling your PRESENT with care.
Besides preparing for future events try to handle what's in front of you as carefully as you can. Do your best to wear neat clothes, clean your shoes cause people respect orderly people, write your notes carefully cause you're the same person whose gonna read them for your tests, arrange your desk if you work in an office so you would look scruffy when someone unexpectedly arrives in front of you and the list goes on and try not to day dream to much so you don't miss out on opportunities. Basically try to be orderly and focused while doing your everyday activities.

It's okay if you try these things the first times and not do it perfectly, just keep trying and I'm sure someday you'll be very good and actually enjoy having a stress- free life.
If you learn to be more organized you're giving yourself a healthier lifestyle and becoming a better person.

What's better than killing two birds with one stone! (I know what you're thinking or might be thinking ... 3 birds or more with one stone, but let me have this one)
