What is leadership?
It is the action of leading a group of people or organization.
It's all about taking charge.
Being a leader doesn't always happen because of appointment by others because sometimes it happens by appointing yourself and taking action.

A leader is elected because the followers believe that he or she is capable of guiding and taking meaningful decisions. This also applies to the case of self-appointment.
There are several qualities of a leader like responsibility, integrity, transparency, kindness and so on.

It requires much more than the ability to stand before a crowd.

                   Essential leadership skills
#1 Creativity:
It is defined as the ability to use imagination or original ideas to create something new. A good leader must be creative and must be able to make effective use of given tools no matter how small or inefficient they look. A creative leader is a person who is capable of making something out of the most impossible materials. A leader may sometimes be stuck in sticky situations, so this is a very important skill.

#2 Effective communication:
This is the ability to express oneself clearly to a person or more. If a leader isn't able to pass his/her message clearly to the followers, it would be difficult to get anything done since any action taken must be accepted by the followers. Communication should not be mixed  up with effective communication because communication alone may not include listening. Effective communication is the ability to speak and to hear from one's followers or team members. This means that listening is also essential.

#3 Responsibility: A leader is responsible for both the successes and failures of his or her team. Therefore, you need to be willing to accept blame when something does not go correctly.

#4 Positivity: This simply involves having a positive attitude to work because no one likes to work with bossy and negative thinking leaders.

#5 Commitment: It is always important that leaders follow through with what they have agreed to do and stick with plans. A good leader must be able to put in extra hours to complete tasks. If a leader shows commitment, it inspires followers or team members to do the same.
