My heart stings
My head rings

Jumping back to reality,
Leaves a feeling of neutrality

I wish to drift freely like the moon's rays
That coaxially cast toward tidal waves

I want to float and soak in puddles of my thoughts
Where nothing ever comes, or is ever lost

Change is a mild thing
Age is a wild thing

Feelings of uncontrollable vast emotion
Gravitate to my skin, causing commotion

Confusion enters my brain
They make me feel insane

I can't control myself
Like a child I'm dealt

If I'm treated like a child,

Then why can't I stay wild?
