Jimin quickly pulled his phone from his pocket, almost dropping it in the process. His fingers fumbled desperately as he shakily pressed down on the home button, lighting up the screen. It read his thumbprint and he was pulled to the homescreen, where his eyes frantically darted around in search of his contacts.
He let a relieved breath out upon spotting the app, and clicked on it immediately. Jimin found Taehyung's contact, which he had as tol bsf 💜. Upon clicking the contact name, he went to their shared messages, where he quickly started typing out a message.

Of CoUrsE :0Jimin closed his phone with a sigh, and he leaned back against his mattress. He let his phone fall beside him as he waited for Taehyung to arrive. He was glad he had Taehyung. He wouldn't be able to explain this to Jihyun. And his parents hadn't the slightest clue he was even gay. At least, he hoped. Jihyun had better keep his mouth shut.
The thought kept running through his head, never stopping to give him a break. He continued whispering the words out loud to himself, hoping for some kind of reassurance in them. He couldn't quite grasp the idea as a whole; couldn't fathom exactly what the words meant, even if his conscience knew exactly what was happening.
"I'm in love with Yoongi," he said slowly, letting each word roll off his tongue like the phrase was a tongue twister. He blinked. Why do those words sound so... right? He wondered. He said them again. "I am in love with Min Yoongi."
Everything seemed so surreal to him. He never knew he'd have the ability to fall in love. He never even knew love was real. He took it as a myth that your parents crammed into your brain to give you hope for your future. Jimin closed his eyes again, remembering every time he'd seen his parents smiling at each other, or seen his father just looking at his mother like she was all that mattered in this entire universe. Or how his mother gazed at his father like he hung the moon and the stars.
I'm so stupid, Jimin thought. He laughed to himself. How have I not realized it all these years?
His thoughts were interrupted at the sound of loud banging on his door.
"Jimin! For Christ's sake, open the damn door!"
Jimin chuckled at his brother, and he heaved himself up from his bed to make his way to the door. He unlocked it to find Jihyun, face devoid of any emotion besides annoyance. Jimin cracked a smile as he ruffled his younger brother's hair.
Jihyun smacked his hands away and glared at him. "Jeez, I was only knocking on your door for like an hour. What were you doing in there, sleeping?"
Jimin laughed. "Just thinking."
"Well, your friend is here."
"Ah, thank you."
Jihyun scoffed, and turned to head back to his bedroom. Jimin laughed at his brother's retreating back and made his way out to the living room. He found Taehyung sitting on the couch, playing with his fingers. Not nervously. Taehyung is just that absentminded friend who becomes easily focused on simple things.
The reason he called his friend over to begin with suddenly reappeared in Jimin's mind, and his smile was wiped from his face. He cleared his throat to grab Taehyung's attention, who looked up and smiled at Jimin.
"Jiminie, what was so important I had to hurry over so quickly?"
Jimin smiled lightly as his friend, albeit kind of forced. "Let's talk in my room."
Taehyung nodded, and stood to follow his short friend to his bedroom.
