Chapter 2: Arguments

Edd opened the door, quietly. He saw Tom drinking, and Matt watching TV. He let Kelcey in. She looked around.

"Nice little apartment you have here."

"Oh, it's nothing special."

He put her suitcase in a corner.

"Just wait. I need to let everyone know that-"

He noticed Kelcey looking through the doorway. Tom and Matt stared at her.

"EDD!"

"You're... here..."

Edd went to Kelcey and hid her behind him. Tom stood up and tried to throw his canister at her, but missed. Matt stood up as well.

 "Edd... who... the hell... is that?"

"This is Kelcey. I found her on the road, and I couldn't just leave her there."

"You picked up a kid from the side of the road?!"

"This... isn't your normal average everyday kid."

Kelcey slowly walked out from behind Edd.

"I'm Kelcey Larrson."

Tom and Matt gasped. Tom's shocked face turned to a serious expression.

"Larrson? As in... Tord Larrson?"

Edd nodded. Tom looked angry and was turning red. Matt smiled playfully.

"Really? You're way to cute and innocent to be Tord's daughter."

Kelcey smiled. Tom tried to run and attack her. Matt held him back.

"EDD WHY THE HELL YOU BRING THAT FUCKING COMMIE'S CHILD HERE?!"

"She was alone and scared. I couldn't let her stay there and starve!"

Matt stuck his head out of Tom's shadow.

"I got an idea! How about you let her explain!"

Edd and Tom looked at him, weirdly. Edd looked at Kelcey, and smiled.

"I think that's a good idea Matt! Kelcey, you tell them why you're here, okay sweet pea?"

Kelcey teared up, and sighed.

"I can't explain it. I don't know much and it's making me scared. All I know is my dad didn't come home from work one night, and his friends told me that I had to be sent away for a little bit. I don't know why."

Edd looked upset. Tom just stared at her. Matt started bawling like a baby.

"WAAAAAH! YOU POOR CREATURE!"

He went to Kelcey and hugged her. She hid her face in his arms. She was afraid of Tom. Matt looked at him with puppy eyes.

"How could you hate such an innocent child? Come on Tom, HAVE A HEART!!!"

Tom crossed his arms. He sighed grumpily.

"Fine. But she better not come within twenty feet of me!"

Edd rolled his eyes.
