Edd had a spare room in his apartment for Kelcey. She slept the whole night. The next morning, Edd made her breakfast. You would know she's Tord's child because they both love bacon. After they ate, Matt decided to do her hair. Tom didn't even look at her. As they were watching TV, the news suddenly came on.

"We interrupt this program with breaking news."

Tom looked at the TV.

"Edd! You may wanna get in here."

"What is it?"

"There's breaking news."

Edd hurried into the living room. Then a picture of Red Leader showed up. Kelcey gasped.

"There's my Dad!"

Matt and Tom looked at her shocked.

"Tord is Red Leader?!" They both said at the same time.

Edd snapped his fingers. They stopped talking.

"For those of you who've been watching for quite some time, we've been keeping a close eye on Red Leader. But now, this war just might end."

Kelcey crawled up to the TV.

"He has said he wanted this war thing to stop. He probably sent me away so that I won't be involved in the drama.

Edd sighed. Matt and Tom just continued to stare at the TV. The woman on the news cast continued to talk. Then, Kelcey's okay look turned to heartbroken.

"Just a few days ago, Red Leader was shot down in a crossfire. After losing consciousness and struggled to breathe, he was rushed to the nearest hospital."

Edd gasped. Matt had an upset expression on his face. Tom just continued to stare.

"We tried to get an interview with one of the Red Army's soldiers, but we were asked to leave their private property. Luckily, one of them was nice enough to send audio recordings to us."

Edd looked at Kelcey. She started to tear up. Then, the audio recording played.

"It was absolutely horrific there. We're used to one of our soldiers getting injured, or losing one of them. But our leader getting injured... we weren't prepared for this. His injuries were quite severe. The doctors say his chances of living are very rare. About 20 to 30. We're just hoping he's going to be okay."

Edd turned off the TV. Tom looked at him. Then Kelcey. She put her head down. She was crying. Matt hugged her. Tom took Edd to the other room.

"Edd! What're we gonna do?!"

"Tom, I thought you didn't care for her."

"I can't stand to see kids that are fatherless. And god knows where her mother is!"

"Tom... you don't want her to live the same life you did."

"Well... yeah..."

"Don't worry. I don't want her to lose her Dad either. I'll think of something."
