Chapter 17: Surprise

Tord waited in the main office for a long time. He tried to contact Kelcey on the earpiece.

"Kelcey... you there... Kelcey?"

No response. He walked to the computer room. She wasn't there. He walked into a different room. The light turned on.

"Surprise Daddy."

Sandie was there with Edd, Matt, Tom, Paul, and Patryk. He looked around, furious.

"What have you done with my daughter, you son of a bitch?!"

"Woah! Chill Daddy! She's right here."

Kelcey walked out from behind Sandie. Tord gasped. She had the goggles on her face.

"Your daughter dearest."

Tord had tears in his eyes. He went to attack Sandie but Paul and Matt held him back. He looked at them.

"Paul! Matt! You know me! Tord!"

"They don't remember you. They only see you as a stranger. Even her."

Tears fell down his face. He looked at Kelcey.

"Come on, Kelcey! You have to recognize me! Dad?!"

She stared at him, emotionless. He looked down, upset. Then, something showed up on his earpiece. It was a code.

"63579. The code to break off the goggles."  

Tord looked at Kelcey. She had sent the code.

"Kelcey, you ray of sunshine. I knew you were still in there."

He broke free from Paul and Matt's grasp. Sandie looked angry.

"Get him and goggle him!"

Tom ran to attack Tord. He grabbed him by the head and put the code into the strap of the goggles. They broke off. Tom looked at him, confused.

"What the hell happened?"

"DUCK YOU JEHOVAH'S WITNESS!"

Gun fire went off. Tord hid Tom in a corner. Tom looked through the crack and saw them. Sandie was screaming at the others.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU IDIOTS?! FIND THEM!"

Tom looked at Tord.

"Can someone please tell me what the fuck is going on?!"

"We've got a crazy girl that will stop at nothing to kill me or anyone else!"

"Well that happens on a daily basis."

"JUST PUT THIS CODE INTO THE BACK OF THEIR GOGGLES! I'LL GET KELCEY!"

Tord threw a gun at Tom.

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

"If Sandie tries to attack you, shoot! Only her you shoot!"

"Yay, murder." Tom said, sarcastically.

Tord put the code into Paul and Patryk's goggles. Tom put the code into Matt and Edd's goggles. Tord ran to Kelcey and put the code into her goggles. She fell into Tord's arms. Her head was bleeding. Tord pointed his gun at Sandie. She put her hands up.

"This is what you get for trying to overthrow me, putting my friends through this hell, and trying to kill my baby. She is all that I have left ever since Leona left!"

Sandie looked at him, evilly. She threw a smoke bomb down on the ground. Tord started coughing from the smoke, and gasped. Sandie's once blue eyes turned to brown.

"She never left."
