Serena groaned as she plopped down onto the ancient couch next to Danny. He rolled his eyes playfully as he tried to hide his grin.
"Hi Serena." Charlie waved with a small smile and the girl dazzled him with a genuine smile.
"Hey guys."
"What's wrong princess?"
"God I miss social media." She groaned and Dylan chuckled. Her week without her phone was almost up and she couldn't wait to get it back.
"The fuck is social media?" Dylan raised a brow as he wove his fingers through Charlie's hair.
The girl glanced between the 3 of them. "Oh god, how do I explain social media to you?" She groaned as she dramatically laid on the couch.
Danny grinned. "You're in a good mood."
The girl shrugged. The rain had ended almost a week ago and the California sun shown brightly in the sky. "The suns out."
"The fuck the sun have to do with your roller coaster of emotions?" Johnny scoffed and Danny held back the glare he wanted to send in his direction.
Serena bit her lip. "I don't know my doctor says sometimes depression gets worse when you haven't seen the sun in a while."
Johnny rolled his eyes and the girl fidgeted with her fingers as she exhaled softly.
Danny glanced at her as he held out a gentle hand to pull her fingers apart before she broke skin.
Dylan and Charlie shared a quick look before glancing at the two again.
"Don't do that." Danny shook his head. "You'll hurt yourself."
Dylan cleared his throat. "Either way I'm happy, you're having a good day white girl. You trying to smoke later?"
The girl grinned. "Of course."
"Fuck yeah." Dylan chuckled and Charlie smiled lovingly at the man.
Johnny huffed and Charlie and Serena both glanced down.
The girl tucked a curl behind her ear and bit her lip. "Has anyone seen Jojo yet?"
Charlie shook his head. "He just woke up. He'll be down in a little bit."
Serena smiled slightly. "You're powers so cool, Charlie."
Charlie beamed as he looked at the girl with hopeful eyes. "Really? You think so?"
Dylan smiled down at the smaller male as Serena nodded.
Johnny scoffed and they looked in his direction, just as someone pounded on the door.
Serena and Charlie jumped and Tal entered the room calmly. He raised a brow.
"Charles, who is at the door?"
Charlie fidgeted slightly. "Mason."
"Mason?!" Serena jumped up so fast her head spun. "Oh my god what is he doing here?"
She looked panickedly at Tal. "I'll get rid of him."
Tal grinned at her reaction. "Alright, love, go ahead."
She bit her lip as she nodded slowly. Mason pounded on the door again and she jumped. He was all worked up.
She walked towards the door and Johnny chuckled. "Show time."
She opened the door just as Mason was preparing to assault the aged wood again.
"Mase? How did you find me?"
