Jorel paced the floor, mumbling incoherently under his breath.
The grey haired girl bit her lip as she sat calmly on the couch watching the boy. The wind was whipping ferociously outside and she jumped every time the house groaned.
"I'm going to fucking kill him." Jorel shook his head. His eyes were steadily orange, the sun was now completely blocked out by clouds.
"Dilly?" Charlie squeezed the Mexican's hand.
Dylan shushed him slightly. "Be quiet my snowflake. It's okay."
"Oh my fucking God." Jorel grumbled as a tree fell onto the power lines outside causing the power to flicker out.
"Damn." Dylan gasped.
"Tal." Johnny looked at the smaller man who watched Jorel with interest.
Daniel came down the steps slowly as he looked around. His gaze rested on the black haired boy who stopped dead in his tracks to stare at the blonde.
"Where the fuck is my sister?"
Danny rolled his eyes. "Exactly where I said she is. I put her to bed so she didn't destroy the house."
"Is she okay?"
Danny scoffed. "How the fuck am I supposed to know?"
All at once every book on the book shelves surrounding the room whipped in Danny's direction. The boy managed to stop a majority of them. The remaining few left large holes in the wall behind the blonde.
"I am so tired of your shit. Stay the fuck away from my sister."
"There's the rage I've been looking for." Tal mumbled under his breath as he smirked at the boy still pacing the floor.
"How dare he... I swear to god. I'm going to snap his legs like a fucking glow stick. Fucking forget football. He'll never walk again." Jorel seethed.
Johnny made an annoyed noise and Jorel threw his arm out as dozens of glass figurines smashed into the eternally angry man.
"I'm tired of your shit too." Jorel grumbled.
Tal grinned. "I do hope Serena is okay, she was quite worked up."
"I should go check on her." Jorel glanced up the stairs for a moment.
"Leave her alone. You wake her up and the whole damn state of California is going to end up in the middle of the ocean." Danny spat and Jorel turned his orange gaze onto the boy who stared back with golden eyes.
"Tal. Say the word and I'll turn him off." Danny nodded, his gaze never leaving Jorel.
"Daniel, sit down and be quiet. Now." Danny glanced at the man before rolling his eyes as they changed back to brown.
"Whatever." He mumbled as he plopped down onto the couch.
"You know if you really want to, oh how did you put it? Snap his legs like a glow stick? Whatever that means, we can take you." Tal shrugged with a raise of his brow.
"Excuse me?"
Circe shrugged. "What's one mortal? There's millions of them. If it'll make you feel better we can go." She nodded, slightly.
"I can't."
"Who said you can't?" Tal raised a brow.
"I have to get a grip." Jorel balled his hands into fists as he attempted to breathe through his anger.
Tal shook his head. There would be none of that. He looked at Johnny who sighed, he was still picking glass out of his skin from Jorel's last outburst.
