The sky was overcast in London. Although, most days it was. Maria watched as the brown haired boy smiled at the girl in a plain dress. She cocked a brow as the boy materialized a red tulip out of thin air. The girl smiled shyly as she took the flower, carefully she avoided his touch.
"A red tulip for eternal love." Ronnie rolled his eyes.
"Isn't that sweet." Maria laughed lightly.
"If I'm not mistaken that's Theresa Crumwell. They're another covenless family. I'm not surprised that they are pawning their children off on each other." Syn shrugged.
"What's this ones name?" Zachy looked up from digging at his finger nails.
"Daniel." Maria rolled her eyes. "Keep up Zachary."
Zachy glared at the girl but his attention quickly switched to the boy who had stopped in front of a unremarkable shack.
Theresa curtsied slightly and Danny gently took her hand placing a gentle kiss to the back of it. The girl's face burned bright red as they said their goodbyes and the girl made her way into what they supposed was a house.
Daniel watched her go before shaking his head. A smile blessed his features and he turned around on his heels continuing down the road.

Maria and the others weren't used to being on the outskirts of London. There was nothing but farmland as far as the eye could see."This is disgusting." Maria groaned as she stepped foot in another mud puddle. Her pretty pink dress was dripping on the ends and she was less than happy about it.
Syn rolled his eyes.
Danny made a sudden left as he continued down another dirt road.
"He walks so far." Ronnie groaned.
"He's a doctors apprentice. A high ranking for a commoner." Syn shrugged.
Danny approached a shabby building surrounded by chickens and crops as far as the eyes could see. Once Danny was within 20 feet of the house the door flew open and a girl came barreling out in a blur.
Her blonde hair blew freely in the wind as she threw her arms around the boy. "Danny!"
Danny chuckled lightly. "Circe what's the matter?"
The girl bit her lip. "I'm sorry I just miss you so much when you are in London."
Danny smiled at the girl as he gently ushered her inside. "I missed you too Cici."
The girl tugged excitedly on the boy's hand. "Momma and I made your favorite."
"Yeah?" Danny smiled as the girl pulled him up the stairs.
Everyone sat quietly as they watched the two disappear in threw the door.
"There's a girl?" Zachy asked breaking the silence.
"Tal didn't say anything about a girl." James furrowed his eyebrows.
"Fantastic." Maria grumbled as she gathered up her skirts. "Come on idiots we need to talk to Tal."

A few days later Danny made his way over the bridge that separated his home from London. He had had a horrid day at work. A new disease was spreading like wildfire and they had lost their 13th person in 4 days.Danny cocked an eyebrow as he came upon the 5 blocking his path.
Danny clutched the small leather bound book, the source of all his medical knowledge.
