Circe sighed as she stared at the stairs. Tal had let Serena and Jorel sleep much later than usual. She missed Jorel terribly. They had spent nearly every single moment together the last couple months. It felt like she was withdrawing and she whimpered quietly. Her hands shook slightly as she took calming breaths. She wanted to crawl out of her skin. Zachy moved next to her on the couch and she groaned.
"Not now."
Zachy frowned. "You look sick. Let me heal you."
The girl cringed slightly. "Don't touch me."
Zachy rolled his eyes. "You are being ridiculous."
Danny stopped pacing as he turned his attention on the boy. "Zachy, if you don't leave my sister the fuck alone, I'll make you set yourself on fire. She said don't touch her. So, don't fucking touch her." Danny snapped and everyone got very quiet.
Circe glanced at Danny, being away from Serena made him so irritable.
"I'm trying to help her but you wouldn't know anything about that." Zachy scoffed and Danny turned golden eyes on the boy just as Tal entered the room.
"Daniel, play nice." Tal chuckled as he took his seat in his favorite chair.
Danny's eyes returned to normal as he grumbled. "Tal won't always be here to protect you Zachy."
Tal sighed. "I think the children have slept far too long. Someone go get them."
Danny and Circe were on their feet before the words even registered with the others in the room.
Tal rolled his eyes. "Someone else go get them."
Circe whimpered slightly as she sat back down on the couch. Danny rubbed his temples gently as he groaned.
Tal smirked. Their pain was an added bonus.
Charlie stood up, surprising everyone in the room, he avoided everyone's gaze as he tugged on Dylan's hand. "I'll get Serena. Come on Dilly you get Jorel." Charlie nodded as he tugged Dylan towards the stairs.
"Why do I have to get Jorel? His ass is mean when he wakes up." Dylan grumbled but he let his snowflake pull him up the stairs regardless.

Dylan sighed as he knocked on the hard wood. "Jorel!"He heard something hit the door hard before it shattered and Dylan shook his head. That lamp didn't deserve that. "Come on man, don't you want to see Circe? Girl's losing her shit down there."
Dylan heard the boy groan and then his feet shuffled across the floor. He threw the door open and grumbled.
"Listen man, I would have let you sleep. On some real shit but Tal said you have to wake up."
"Fuck Tal." Jorel grumbled as he slipped past Dylan making his way towards the stairs.
Once his feet hit the floor Circe was on top of him. The girl threw herself into his arms and he sighed. He wrapped his arms tightly around her, resting his chin on her head, he squeezed her gently.
The girl shook in his arms slightly and he rubbed his hand soothingly up and down her spine. "Ci, what's wrong?"
"I missed you." She whimpered and Jorel kissed the top of her head.
"That's all, beautiful?"
The girl nodded and Jorel kissed her temple. "I missed you too."
Circe sniffled as she detached from the boy who looked disappointed at her departure. "You look tired."
Jorel nodded slightly, he ran a hand through his tussled hair. "I sleep better when you're there."
Circe felt a pain in her chest. She grabbed his hand, pulling him towards the couch opposite the one she had been sitting on. The one farthest away from Zachy.
