New High School, New Life

Hey guys, I'm Alessia Caracciolo. But call me Alessia. I'm 18 years old and I'm a Canadian. My background is Italian since that's where my parents are obviously from. My zodiac sign is a cancer, my favorite colour is blue, and my birthday is July 11th. And this is my story. I used to live in Woodbridge but now me and my parents moved to Toronto. My mom wanted to live somewhere else since she thinks Woodbridge was an old place for her. I wasn't really ok with moving from Woodbridge and Toronto. I have a close friend named Corina and we hang out a lot all the time. It really hurts me to leave her because we had such good times together. My parents always said I was gonna make new friends in high school. I hated when my parents said that. It was like replacing the ones that I've made since I was kid with new ones. But I hope that everyone is nice there. The high school was called St. Emmaculate. Let's hope that the school was okay.

I walked in the building and some of the students were so weird. Some of them were looking at me strangely which is totally normal to me since I'm the new student. I walked to my class and took a deep breath. Everything was gonna be ok....hopefully.

Teacher: "Oh you must be Alessia Cara."

Alessia: "Yeah..."

Teacher: "Well welcome to our school, you may have a seat."

I walked to my seat. As I was walking, a guy who appears to be named Shawn known as Shawn Mendes was staring me. Shawn thought I was really cute. I looked at Shawn too and I thought he was really cute too. I wanted to smile but I just turned and minded my own business. I sat down on my seat and stayed quiet.

Teacher: "Ms. Cara, do u wanna tell us about yourself?"

Alessia: "Um..sure."

I stood up in front of my desk and all the students were looking at me.

Alessia: "Hey Everyone, I'm Alessia. My background is Italian because that's where my parents are from. I used to live in Woodbridge but now I came here. I'm 18 years old, I sing and play instruments, my favorite colour is blue, my zodiac sign is a cancer, and my birthday is July 11th."

Teacher: "You play instruments? Interesting..what instruments do u play?"

Alessia: "I taught myself how to play guitar when I was a kid and I also play the ukulele."

Teacher: "Wow that's very nice, do u have any siblings?"

Alessia: "Yea I have a 13 year old brother named Dario."

Teacher: "Nice. Well Alessia, we hope u have a great year here."

Alessia: "Thank u."

Alessia sat down on her seat. Then, a girl named Olivia smiled at her.

Olivia: "I love your jacket."

Chantelle: "Yeah it's cool."

Alessia: "Oh thank u."

Olivia: "I'm Olivia and this is Chantelle."

Alessia: "Oh hey."

Chantelle: "We want u to meet someone else too, he's super cute."

Alessia: "Really? What's his name?"

Olivia: "Shawn Mendes."

Alessia: "Wait...Shawn Mendes?"

Chantelle: "Yeah.."

Olivia: "What's wrong?"

Alessia: "The name sounds pretty familiar, I might have heard that name from somewhere but I can't remember where."
