~A week later~
Carter's birthday was last week and he was now 7 years old. Why is my son growing so fast?? I know I said this multiple times already but I can't get over the fact that he's growing so fast and his sister will be here soon. We already got her room all set up. But today we are going to come up with a name for our baby girl. I slept for a couple of hours and then headed downstairs.
Shawn: "You ready?"
Alessia: (smiles) "Yes, any names?"
Shawn: "I was thinking of names ever since u were sleeping."
Alessia: (laughs)
Shawn: "What about Isabel?"
Alessia: "Hmm I like Isabel but which sounds better? Lucia, Rachel, Isabel, or Jordyn or maybe even Aaliyah.
Shawn: (laughs) We're not naming our daughter after my sister."
Alessia: (laughs) I know I was kidding, so which sounds better?"
Shawn: "Isabel."
Alessia: "Ok do u want to name her that?"
Shawn: "Are u ok with that name?"
Alessia: "Yea I like Isabel. It's a pretty name."
Shawn: "I am okay with that too."
Alessia: "Ok then her name is Isabel."
Shawn: (smiles). "Alright then."
Alessia: "Carter!"
Carter: "Yea?"
Carter ran to us as soon as he heard us call him.
Alessia: "So we came up with a name for ur baby sister."
Carter: (smiles) "Really?! What's her name going to be?"
Alessia: (smiles) "Isabel."
Carter: "Awesome!! I can't wait to teach her a lot of things when she gets to 4 years old."
Alessia: "We are all very excited, we have her room set up and now we're waiting for her to arrive."
Carter: "Yess!"
Me and Shawn did lots of fun things together with Carter and then we took a rest. Shawn was always right by my side. He cuddles me softly whenever I'm asleep. He gets stuff that I need and he always keeps me smiling. I am so lucky to have such an amazing family. I have never thought I would get the best family but I fell in love with the perfect guy and I have an amazing son with a daughter coming on the road. We were ready for Isabel.
