The Gala

Today was such an amazing day and it was because tonight was the Met Gala. The time when all celebrities were fancy outfits and costumes. I couldn't wait to see Shawn and everyone else tonight because I was curious to know what everyone will be wearing. The first thing I had to do was to get my hair done so I had to get ready quickly. I got changed and headed to the hair salon. I got my hair packed into a bun and then I headed back home. This time, I wasn't doing my makeup myself. Someone was going to do my makeup for me and they were going to help me dress up. I took off my clothes and wore a robe since I wasn't wearing anything yet. I sat down on the couch and the lady did my makeup. I also had small gems on the side of my eyes. My makeup was looking amazing. And then the last thing to put on was the dress. 

The dress was pretty long at the back so I was going to need some help so that I won't trip on it. When I was done getting dressed, I took a photo of my dress from the bottom and uploaded to my instagram story. My fans was going to see the whole dress later on when I get to the Gala. When I was done getting dressed, I headed into the car. It was almost a 3 hour drive. And by the time I got there, there was lots of people already. Everyone was looking amazing. After a few people got their photo taken, I went to get mine taken. I looked straight at the camera and smiled when they took a third pic of me. I got six photos taken and then I slowly climbed up the stairs so that the next person could get their photo taken too. As I was walking up, I saw Shawn. Shawn looked at me and he was so shocked.

Shawn: "Wow...Alessia...you look...wow..."

Alessia: (smiles) "I know what u mean, thank u...u don't look too bad urself."

Shawn: "Oh well thank u."

Alessia: "Nice Gala, isn't it?"

Shawn: "Oh yea everyone looks amazing."

Alessia: "I know."

Shawn: "Hey, do u want to go in there? Lots of people are sitting there."

Alessia: "Ok sure let's go."

Shawn: "Okay."

Shawn held onto my hand and we walked in. Me and him talked for hours and then he went on stage to make an announcement. It was about our relationship. He wanted to confirm our fans and everyone else about it because some people thought it was rumors being spread around. Shawn got on the stage and turned on the speaker.

Shawn: "Hey Everyone, I want to make an announcement to make it clear for u all. There has been lots of rumors being spread about me and Alessia's relationship and I wanna to say that the rumors are actually true. 

That was what made everyone confused and surprised.

Shawn: "When I was on my way here tonight, I was so excited to tell all my fans, my family and you guys that I'm in love with an amazing artist...."

That was what made me smile.

Shawn: "And the amazing artist is...Alessia Cara."

Everyone clapped. I was smiling and looking around. 

Shawn: "Alessia, when I first met you in high school, you changed my life. I never thought we would be together but I'm glad about how everything turned out now. I'm so glad to have met such an amazing girl like you. I can't imagine my whole life without you. I love you."

Alessia: "Awww...I love you too.."

I went up to him and we both kissed and gave each other a hug. All the famous celebrities that was there clapped for us. Our relationship was finally confirmed. After all that romantic moment, we spoke for a bit. I was so happy that our relationship was confirmed and I was also glad that Shawn was my boyfriend. He really knows how to put a smile on my face.  After that, I headed home. It was such an amazing night.
