By the time the last bell rings, I'm already racing out the door. I can't wait to see my brother again. He said that he wanted to surprise me with something. I told him he didn't need to do that but he insisted. I'm trying to pretend like I'm happy but wish that he didn't do something like this for me, but I'm so excited!
When I get home, Mason is sitting at the kitchen with his shoes on and car keys in his hand.
"Izabelle! Your home! Do you have any homework?"
I pause for a moment and think about the classes that I missed today.
"Just a little, but I can get it done later."
"Great! Are you ready for your surprise?"
"Sure!"
"Okay. Let's get driving then."
A/N: Again I say, I'm so sorry for the late update! I will try to get another chapter out today and at least one every Sunday. I have posted a comment in the previous chapter so you can see my explanation this time as to why I haven't updated. Thank you all for sticking with this story even though there have been very large gaps between chapters. I have had a very bad case of writers block so hopefully I'm cured now! ;) thank you again.
