❁Chapter 10❁

Okay so here's the update. I had to rewrite the whole thing again so sorry if it's not as good, I tried to remember everything I wrote:(

Jamie's POV

I woke up the next morning remembering everything that happened yesterday and I felt sick. I checked the time,

6:15

I wasn't in the mood to deal with school.

"Honey are you gonna get up?" my mom asked from the doorway of my room

"I don't feel good" I moaned from my bed

She walked towards me and put her hand in my forehead

"You're warm"

She walked out of my room then seconds later returned with a thermometer and took my temperature.

"105.. I think it's best if you stay home today" she explained

We said our goodbyes and she headed off to work.

I ended up falling back to sleep and woke up confused at where I was. I clicked the home button on my phone,

7:35

I forced myself out of bed and headed downstairs. I took some pills to help with my fever and made some tea. I sat down at the table and saw my phone turn on. I had a text from Kendal:

Kendal: Hey where are you at?

Me: I have a fever so I stayed home

Kendal: Aw I hope you feel better:( oh yeah and Shawn told me what happened between you and Jacob yesterday. He leaves tomorrow you two need to work things out

Me: I know, I just don't know what to say:/

Kendal: Just do what you think is right. Well I got to go, hope you feel better:*

Me: Okay thanks. Have fun at hell, I mean school:*

Kendal: I'll try

I really wanted to talk to Jacob, but apart of me didn't

I didn't really do anything for the rest of the day. I mainly just watched Netflix and slept a lot. I checked the time,

2:50

School should be over already, I thought.

Jacob's POV

School was finally over and I began walking home. I was expecting Jamie to come out of nowhere and try to scare me, but I remembered she hasn't talked to me for awhile. She didn't show up to school either and I was worried about her all day.

I continued walking alone until I saw her group of friends walking ahead of me.

"DANI" I lightly shouted

They all turned around and waited for me to catch up then we continued walking again.

"What's up" Dani asked

"Have any of you guys heard from Jamie?" I asked nervously

"She's sick so she didn't come to school today" Maddie answered

I could just imagine Jamie sleeping and watching Netflix all alone. I wanted to be with her right now. I wanted to take care of her and cuddle with her until she felt better. Kendal said something that snapped me out of my thoughts.
