Jacob's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Jamie referred us as "just friends" and it's been killing me. Two whole weeks without hand holding, our deep conversations, and hanging out with her. Things just weren't the same anymore. And on the other hand, I leave for tour this week and I still haven't told her.

I got out my phone to text Jamie.

Me: Hey, I need help with something. You want to ditch school today?

A few minutes passed and she finally responded.

Jamie: I guess so

I was kind of shocked that she agreed to ditch with me. Jamie doesn't really seem like the type of person to do that, but I was happy she agreed.

Me: Okay I'll be at your house in a few minutes:)

Jamie's POV

I was confused as I read Jacob's text. Why would he want to ditch? But anyways, I got up out of bed and got ready.

Jacob was meeting me at my house in a few minutes so I tidied up the house and made myself look presentable.

Not very much happened in these past two weeks. I ended up telling my mom who Jacob was and everything that had happened between us. That's basically it.

I heard the doorbell ring so I walked downstairs to go answer it. When I opened the door, I see Jacob standing there, holding his guitar.

"Hey" I said

"Hi" he responded back

We both walked inside and Jacob sat on the floor, motioning me to sit next to him.

"So what do you need help with and why did you bring your guitar?"

"I need help writing a song" he explained

"And what makes you think I can help you write a song?"

"Uh, I don't know. I just needed someone to get inspiration from"

"Well I'm not very inspiring, but I guess I can help" I giggled

A few hours gone by and all we did was joke around and listen to music. "Can We Dance" by The Vamps came on and Jacob stood up in front of me and held out his hand.

"Dance with me" he smiled

I grabbed his hand and he pulled me towards him. We didn't really "dance" at all. He held both of his hands in mine and we both sang at the top of our lungs.

Our faces got close and our lips almost touched, but I pulled away. Jacob's smile instantly faded. Fuck Jamie you screwed up again, I thought. Jacob let out a deep breathe.

I was about to walk away when Jacob stopped me by tightening his grip on his hands.

"I can't do this anymore" he began

I looked at him in confusion.

"I can't stand being 'just friends' with you anymore. Jamie.. I love you. Ever since the first day I met you, I've loved you. You make me feel this type of way that I just can't explain. I love you, I love you, I love you. Even through your darkest times, I love you"

There was a short moment of silence.

"I don't know what to say" I began

"C'mon Jamie, there's no way that you don't feel the same about me. Remember our kiss? That kiss was the most passionate kiss ever, and you know it. You can't tell me that you didn't feel anything"
