Tony smirked. I refused to show any emotion whatsoever. “I just wanted to see how you could take it. I didn’t mean any of it,” Tony said apologetically. I kept a straight face and walked away. Everyone rushed towards me. “Who are you?” “I’ve never seen someone stand up to Tony like that” “Did you really kill that thing?” “Is Loki your boyfriend?” and a million more questions like those. I felt like a celebrity with all the attention and praise. “I’m Madelyn, thanks I kind of got fed up obviously, yes I really killed it with help from Loki, and yes he is my boyfriend,” I smiled. Loki walked up behind me and put his hands on my shoulders. “Sorry boys, she’s all mine,” he said and kissed my cheek. I laughed. “Wait a second. What happened to Nocturne?” Loki asked. I had forgotten about Nocturne. “He got away… Then we hear about what was going on here, so we came to help. Once we got here everything was already taken care of, obviously.” Clint Barton said. Did that guy ever smile? Didn’t seem like it. I can’t believe it was still so early in the day and we had already done so much. I felt ready for more. “So, Loki. You’re one of the good guys now?” Steve asked. “Of course I am, and I’m ready to fight to the end,” Loki said. I smiled up at him. What can I say? I was proud of him. “And how did you get this gem?” Tony asked. I blushed a bit. “Let’s just say, I got lucky,” he grinned. “Where is Jane?!” Thor exclaimed. “She’s just a couple blocks down. Calm down,” Loki said calmly. Thor ran off down the block. “Wrong way!” Loki yelled. Thor spun around and took off the other way. “Just kidding! You were going the right way, genius!” Loki yelled at Thor. He turned around again. “Don’t push it, brother!” He yelled over his shoulder. Loki just grinned. He was the God of Mischief.
