It was the third day of school and when Jennie and Lisa were entering the cafeteria for lunch, they instantly spotted Rosé's fervent wave from their usual round table. Jisoo was there, too.

"Looks like your crush is here," Lisa teased in a sing-song and hastened towards her girlfriend, before Jennie could elbow her in the ribs.

"Hey you, silly goose!" Lisa kissed the top of Rosé's head and ruffled her hair, when the seated girl wrapped her arms eagerly around Lisa's waist and pecked her stomach. Once her girlfriend was almost seated, Rosé grabbed the back of her neck and fused their lips in a hot, wet kiss, as if it was their last. Lisa moaned in surprise, unaware of the emotional night her girlfriend had.

"Enough with the PDA, ladies," Jennie clucked her tongue at them as she settled between Lisa and Jisoo, who had her hair down and was donning a white loose-fitting blouse tucked neatly into tight navy jeans. She could not decide if the outfit really rocked, or if it was Jisoo who rocked the outfit, and she gulped subconsciously anyway.

Rosé broke the kiss and Lisa wiggled her eyebrows at Jennie, "You don't have to be jealous, you can do it with Jisoo too." That earned her a flick on the forehead and a death glare from a blushing Jennie, who was about to rebut when Jisoo scoffed, "Oh trust me, when that happens, you two will be the jealous ones, because hands down we do it better anytime."

In a blink, Jennie went from a blushing pink to an embarrassing red – her mind had involuntarily fleeted to imaginations of Jisoo's soft lips and warm groping hands. Then, as she watched Lisa and Rosé exchange looks of horror, Jennie sensed something awry and hastily intervened, "Ladies, please, there is no nee –"

"Woahhh you're on, Kim Jisoo!" Lisa slammed her hands on the circular table and shared an exaggerated nod with Rosé who pointed tauntingly, "It's ladies' night, we'll see you at the club at 11 and you'll see who the jealous ones really are."

Jennie face-palmed, "Everybody just calm d –" Things were definitely spiraling out of control.

"Challenge accepted, amateurs," Jisoo smirked and raised her mug of water as toast before calmly sipping from it.

It was then that Lisa abruptly realized a particular absence in the conversation. Three heads turned to Jennie as Lisa inquired cheerily, "Jennie, you'll come with, right?"

Finally. Jennie shook her head and sighed, "There's school tomorrow."

Lisa rolled her eyes, "Your lesson only starts in the afternoon tomorrow."

"I have homework to do."

"There's nothing due this week."

"But... I don't get what the bet is all about!" Jennie grumbled, exasperated.

She never grasped the rationale behind getting drunk at nightclubs, also known as clubbing, which sounded like a pure waste of time that could be put to better use, like studying or sleeping. Sure, she had gone clubbing a few times out of social conformity, such as for birthday parties or when her team celebrated clinching the dance championship or when Lisa broke up with her ex, but to this day Jennie still could not justify the price tag to get intoxicated and deaf and pressed up against, much less on an overcrowded dance floor that smelt of nothing nice.

Lisa exhaled aloud, "Never mind, it's okay. I know you hate clubbing." She looked down and twiddled with her thumbs, her voice defeated, "I just wanted to spend time with you outside of school." Jisoo and Rosé had been awkwardly darting their eyes back and forth between the other two, silently wondering if it was their place to mediate.

At Lisa's words, a sharp pang of guilt washed over Jennie. Heck, she truly was unable to recall the last time they hung out beyond campus. Shit. She scooted closer and placed her hands over Lisa's fidgeting fingers, cooing gently, "Oh, Lili, if you want me to do anything, all you have to do is ask. You know that."
