A day at the beach

Your POV:

Finally everyone gets the week off, thanks to Master Hand. Today everyone decided to go to the beach, which to me, sounded like a great idea. I looked around to see that everyone was getting ready to go. Except one fighter. And that was Ridley.

I sighed. Ever since Ridley came to the smash mansion, Samus would just bully the crap out of him. It's gotten to the point to where Ridley won't come out of his room unless it's for food or he was in a battle. It's hard to see Ridley to act like this.

I don't care if Samus chews me out because I'm gonna let Ridley tag along. He's a person to, and I'm not gonna let her smack him around like some animal. I pushed those bad and mean thoughts away and made my way to Ridley's room.

Nervously, I knocked on the door just enough for him to here that thiers someone at the door. It was atleast a couple of minutes before I heard Ridley. "Come in.." yeah. He was definitely feeling down.

Of course I opened the door and walked in the very dark room. Ridley was on the bed staring at the floor. "Are ok Ridley?" I asked as I walked over to him and sat down beside him. He shook his head no and continued to stare at the floor. With all honesty, it broke my heart to see him like this. "Hey, want to go to the beach? It sounds fun." I asked as I gave him a gentle/warm smile.

"I don't know y/n. What if Sam..." "Don't even dare start that Ridley. I know you better than that." I cut him before he could even finish his own sentence. "What happened to the Ridley that wouldn't let anyone push him around. Where's the prideful and stubborn Ridley when I first met him? Mostly. What happened to the amazing and inspiring beast, I wanted to be friends with?"

3rd person:

Ridley was shocked at the words that came from you. You really want to be friends with him and not anyone else? He lifted his and looked at you with tears threatening to fall from his eyes as he gave you the very first heart warming smile he has given to anyone in years.

The gentle soul that you are, you gave him the biggest hug you could muster. "Still want to go to the beach big guy?" You asked him as he chuckled and simply nodded.

All the smash fighters were either enjoying the sun, playing or swimming in the water, or trying to build something out of the sand. And you? You were sitting under a nice tree. You loved to see your friends having fun.

The can be said about Ridley. He was sitting next to you and looking up at the clouds. It didn't take long for Samus to realize that Ridley tagged along as well, and it take her long to think of a way to make Ridley feel down in the dumps again. She was waiting for the right time.

Ridley looked down and saw that you looked rather bored. He looked around and thought you might like to build something out of the sand or something. "hey y/n?" he asked as he nudged your shoulder just enough to grab your attention. "hmm? What is it?" Ridley, for some reason that he didn't know, was getting nervous. "W-want to go do something? Look rather bored."ridley said. It was true you were getting bored, so you nodded ur head and smiled at him.

After a little while you two decided to build the biggest sand castle you could muster without it falling. Right in the middle of building it, you went to go get some more wet sand as Samus walked up to Ridley with a not so pleasant expression on her face. "Why are You doing here?" Samus snapped at Ridley who shrunk back a little. Right when he did that, he remembered the words you said and it he him a lot of confidence.

He started to glare at Samus and quietly growled at her as well. "For your information. I'm spending time with My friend!"Ridley said almost yelling at her. You just happen to hear the words 'my' and 'friend', come from Ridley's mouth.

You walked back with a big bucket full of wet sand to finish the last have of the sandcastle. "y/n! Your friends with this beast?!" Samus said in shocked as you turn around and look at her with a glare. "Yes. I am. And if you have a problem with that, you can just walk away and leave us be!" You sounded like you going to rip her head off when you said that and she shut her mouth and walked away.

Before you turned around, you felt a pair of arms wrap around and gave you a hug. You knew it was Ridley and you kindly returned the hug. "this is the best beach day ever." Ridley said as your face heated up a bit.

"Especially with you y/n."
