Johnny was greeted with Ten's door flinging open and the Thai running into his chest, not quite crying but teary and red in the face. Johnny used one arm to hug his waist and the other to close the door behind him.

"What happened?" Johnny asked, wanting to know more details.

Ten's breathing shuddered. He had been walking with Hendery through town, windowshopping and just marvelling over the fact they were boyfriends now, when someone walked past them and knocked the Thai with his shoulder. Now, Ten wouldn't have paid much attention since the streets can be quite crowded, but something passed through their shoulders when they touched. Something dangerous.

He turned his head with a scowl, but it soon dropped when he saw--

"Jongin?"

The Korean looked over his shoulder with a wide, toothbearing grin that Ten would have called handsome if he wasn't scared out of his mind. Next to him were two people he definitely didn't need to see: Junhee and Zuho.

"I'm back, baby," he winked before nudging the taller man, laughing evilly with that high pitched voice of his, and then turned and left, leaving Hendery very confused as to what had happened, and why exactly his boyfriend just threw his hand out of his.

Johnny nodded in understanding, biting his lip when he felt he felt the younger shaking out of nerves. "Do you know why they're back?"

Ten laughed, "I didn't stop to ask, Johnny," but it was very forced.

"Where's Hendery?" The older asked and looked around the house.

The Thai detached himself from his friend and rubbed his face. "I sent him home. I-I didn't want him to see me like this," he explained quietly, and the American nodded gently.

"Well... You still like pancakes right?" He asked, a question to which the Thai nodded eagerly and for a split second, he was back to himself. "Good," Johnny laughed. "I'll make you some and then we'll watch a film?"

Ten slid down onto the sofa. "Yeah... But, you know, John, we can't ignore them forever. One day they're going hurt one of us again and I really don't want to see that happen."

"Me neither," the older said and tugged at his bottom lip in thought. "I could always stick around here if you're worried. Or maybe Hendery could?"

Ten paused and then nodded, paused again, and shook his head. "Hendery has to look after his brother, and... and what about Taeil? How's that going?"

Johnny sighed. "Good, good. I just haven't spoken to him for ages and it's killing me."

Ten turned his face to Johnny with a sly smile. "Look at you, being gay! So proud," he said, pretending to be teary eyes and placing a hand over his chest. Johnny rolled his eyes and pushed him to the side. "But seriously now. Back to the problem: I can't stay indoors for the rest of my life! Zuho looked like he wanted to knock me out!"

Ten stared off into the distance, and then he slowly slid along the sofa until the side of his head collapsed onto the American's shoulder for support. Johnny smiled and rested his head on top of Ten's. This was a problem. A huge problem, but dwelling on it wouldn't make it go away. "I know, Ten. But right now: chocolate or plain pancakes?"
