Johnny ended up staying overnight on Ten's sofa because the Thai could hardly relax on his own, but he made Ten some breakfast, found his phone and texted Hendery to come over, and sat on the sofa, waiting for Ten to come down.

Soon enough, lazy footsteps padded down the stairs, followed by, "You still here?" in that morning voice that contradicted the sound of his singing.

Johnny changed the channel on the TV to a cartoon of a raccoon and a bluejay. "Yep. Made you breakfast, too."

Ten strolled into the kitchen and came back out with a plate of eggs on toast. "Thank you for staying," he said, sitting beside his friend and bringing his legs up onto the sofa with him. "I had a dream that Jongin punched you in the face."

Johnny gasped and placed his hand on his cheek. "He wouldn't dare!"

Ten waved his hand in the air. "I know! I remember last time when Junhee grabbed your collar and--"

"And I slapped him in the face because I had just had it ironed!" Johnny continued, and the two of them laughed at the memory. "Little chipmunk, trying to mess up my style!"

Ten placed a slice of toast between his teeth as the doorbell rang. He narrowed his eyes and Johnny shouted, "Come on in!"

The door opened, and Ten went into a state of panic for a split second, but when Hendery rounded the corner, he immediately smiled.

"Hey," he said.

Ten giggled. "Hey."

Johnny smiled and looked between the two. Slapping his hands down onto his thighs, Johnny said, "Right! Well have a lovely day, and if you need me, Ten," he said turning to the Thai and dropping his hand on his black hair. "Just call."

Hendery looked at the hand on top of his boyfriend's head, and once Johnny left, he held Ten's head in both his hands and kissed the top of his head.

Ten smiled. "Thank you for coming," he said.

Hendery hummed. "It's no problem."

He sat next to the Thai and let his finger trail down from his hair down to the shell of his ear. "So what's got you so worked up then?"

Ten swallowed his breakfast. "Ah... I don't really want to talk about that, sorry," he whispered. Hendery nodded and leaned his head on Ten's shoulder.

"That's okay."

Meanwhile, Johnny walked back to his house, where he had left Mark and his boyfriend cuddling on the sofa. He walked in and took off his shoes.

"Hey, where were you last night, man?" Mark asked as he drank his peach tea.

Johnny shrugged off his jacket. "Just with Ten."

Mark raised his eyebrow. "I would have thought you'd have been with Taeil."

Johnny pursed his lips. "Yeah," he mumbled and checked his phone.

No messages.

"Me too," he said quietly.
