CHAPTER 10
THE GHOST OF LOVEMARCH 26, 2019
- KLAUS' APARTMENTMARLEY rolled over on the place where she lay, her hand coming up to rub at her face, hitting something before reaching it. She cracked an eye open to look at what had interrupted her peaceful stretch. A chuckle escapes her mouth at the scene presenting itself to her. Klaus was lying, a pillow clutched within his arms like a teddy bear, his mouth hung agar with a sliver of drool escaping his mouth. His hair splayed across the below his head, no doubt not going to be moved from that position once he wakes.
The sun hadn't actually risen yet, making the apartment seem eerie. She stood from the bed, ate hung her arms above her head her oversized t-shirt raising in the process. She didn't actually remember changing into the top, only that she had been wearing it. Stumbling down the hallway of Klaus' apartment, Marley found herself in his kitchen. Looking in the fridge she found nothing but a few bottles of beer and a carton of milk that smelt like it was weeks old.
"Guess we'll have to do some shopping then." Marley sighed, slamming the fridge door shut.
Walking over to the sofa, she grabbed the remote and turned the TV on as she flopped down. An old episode of Friends appeared on the screen, a smile gracing Marley's face at her first memory of the show.

- THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY"Wait, I'm confused." A fifteen-year-old Marley groaned pausing the television she had snuck into the trio's hiding spot.
"Yeah, me too." Ben sighed, running his hand through his hair.
"Well, I think that Ross and Rachel used to date but now aren't. And now Rachel loves him but he doesn't love her anymore." Klaus slowly replied, with a tilt of his head.
"I feel like we should've started from the start." Marley sighed, dropping her head onto Ben's shoulder.
"Let's just go back from the start and watch them all." Klaus grinned reaching for the remote.
"You do realise that there are now ten seasons, right?" Ben chuckled looking at the excitement on Klaus' face.
"Well, then we better get started. Marley, run to the store and buy all of the DVD's for the series." Klaus smiled to the cuddly pair.
"Fine." Marley sighed, speeding out of their fort.
"How long do you think this is actually gonna take?" Ben sighed.
